for my point of view ... AGP cards heats faster and PCI-e cards heats slow in a certain of time.  I also do test before when im still using AGP cards(AGP geforce FX5500) with my PCI-e(PCI-e geforce 7600GS) that im using today. 

i test an AGP 7600GS with my PCI-E 7600GS and they do run smoothly with the game i tested (C&C3).  But after a while i played ffor 3 hours, AGP 7600GS card runs the game slow because of overheating but with PIC-E after 3 hours, it runs well.

Our test on a few of the PCI-e graphics cards show a lack of PCI-Express dominance.  In terms of performance, the PCI-Express cards perform similarly with the AGP 8x cards.  In previou tests, we surmised that the presence of a HIS bridge brought minimal impact to the performance of bridged cards versus natively PCI-Express cards.  The AGP to PCI-Express bottleneck was not a factor at all.

what is the difference between a VC GDDR and A VC DDR?

coz when i browse some shops in a mall in singapore, i did find a VC 512mb geforce 7600GS 256-bit GDDR $189 singapore dollars.

and i also found this: 256mb geforce 7600GS 128-bit  DDR $179 sinapore dollars.

AMD CPU architecture is different and so they can improve performance at lower clock speeds. The 3000+ as hofuldig says is an indication that it will performance similar to a 3Ghz Pentium single-core.Cyborg-21

i have a friend and visited in his house to borrow some games... he bought a desktop pc and played some of his games that are installed... i played the game Neverwinter Nights 2 and it was fast and smooth with high graphics.  I checked his rig and i was shoked that his rig is as follows:

AMD 3000+ 1.8GHz

1.5 GB memory (RAM)

256mb Radeon X1300 256bit PCI-E

I know the game Neverwinter Nights 2 is required to have a 3GHz of CPU but his rig is just simple but fast.  I'm not kiddin about this... I think its about the Video card that really speeds up the game.
