@jonnybrownieboy: ? If you're beating the story with light side questing in under 25 hours then you're lying and probably did one or two side quests. In order to finish the story alone in under 25 hours you need to rush. I spent 25 hours on just side quests alone before chapter 3..
@fend_oblivion: possibly. They're just movie scenes though so shouldn't be too big. Whole movies are only a few GB. But ya, that'd be cool if it was itemized and we could individually choose what items to download
@deviltaz35: understandable. My internet is the same way. I upgraded to the ps4 pro and when I reinstalled Witcher 3 I had to download 23gb of patches before it was up to date again after the base game itself is 30gb or so
@deviltaz35: 8 years? They just started the game over from scratch in mid 2012. That's a normal development length for this kind of game. And the extra stuff they are adding are things you wouldn't decide to put in until the very end of development anyway whether they had 3 years or 8
@zackgrutza: actually it is optional. The game has been played start to finish without the patch. It's only fixing small bugs that aren't critical to the game like any bugs u find in any big game. Most of the patch is dedicated to adding new features that enhance the experience.. Much like patches for Witcher 3 or any other big and open game. They weren't going to delay the game again to add non essential features when the game is fine how it is without the patch
@sakaixx: right, It's not wrong. But what's the point when it's normal with today's games? Games of this complexity are going to need large file sizes to add substantial additional features. I'm not looking forward to downloading 7.2gb just like everyone else probably isn't but I am looking forward to having the extra stuff it adds to the game. Not like they're charging for it or something.
