@tommy101: You're the reason games have become hand-holding borefests. Just because u couldn't "easily" know u had to run away from the behemoth that's a problem? We don't need games that plaster directions on the screen every 5 sec to tell us what to do.
Also, the summon is too hard to summon??? U hold X for 10 sec.. Not hard. And yes there needs to be some sort of vulnerability during that time frame or it'll be the"automatic win button" every time you're about to die.
Again, you're the reason games have become so completely streamlined and dumbed down.
@Stiler: is it a better piece of artwork than the one they went with? Yes. But this artwork does not fit the theme of the game so this would actually be worse as the cover. The game is about brotherhood and friendship.
@GunEye: they literally just released the news now in a live stream ATR in Japanese. Someone translated it in the live comments. They already confirmed graphical upgrades in the Tabata interview in Oct but today they wanted to announce specifics on frame rate differences. We already know there will be improved visuals though as well just no specifics but we can infer they mean better anti aliasing, texture detail due to super sampling downscaled to 1080p etc because it's pretty much the norm for pro supported titles at the moment when looking at other titles being supported already.
@GunEye: They just finished up an ATR and announced the ps4 Pro patch will run the game at 1080p/60fps or 4K/30fps! Imagine playing in a smooth 60fps. This game already looks good at 30fps... That alone is enough reason to me. And of course the older games that don't get patched for the Pro won't see any difference. They are limited to run how they were programmed. Doesn't matter to me anyway because I don't care to play those games I've already played again just to see a minor improvement although i do care to have that improvement in newer games I haven't played and that haven't been released yet.
OLED TVs sounds crazy.. Might even hurt your eyes staring at it too long lol. I'll get a 4K TV when it makes sense but for now I'm fine with the 1080p display and the benefits the Pro will still bring to 1080p. I would say having better textures in newer supported games and better anti aliasing/frame rate is a big difference. Especially for 400.. sucks that you have to deal with all those taxes and currency differences so it ends up being a little more expensive for u.. Although 415 GBP is actually not bad at all considering your situation.

@GunEye: damn. Looks like you've done way more research than me about the TV's. I just know I don't have the money for one yet so I haven't really looked much into the details about them. I'll probably start looking into them more in a year when they start coming down a little in price and when I have more money saved.
I've never been crazy about audio.. Just use my built in TV speakers. Usually good enough for me. I know having better sound would be great but it hasn't been important enough for me to put money into it. Maybe one day I'll get a good audio setup too but so far I never have and been ok with it. Probably because I don't know what I'm missing.

As for selling my PS4, I have researched what they are currently selling for on eBay here And ones that are broken or not working and don't come with all the cables or a controller are selling for 120ish. Then I see ones comparable to mine selling for 200 +- 20$. Mine looks like it's still brand new just like yours probably does and I do plan on selling mine with all the cables and a controller that looks like new still. Also an HDMI cable.
I personally like the looks of the standard ps4 more than the Pro but not by much. At this point I'm willing to upgrade to the newest console even if it costs me more than 200 in the end just because I really want to play FF15 on the best hardware after waiting all these years for it. Even if I didn't get a Pro at launch I would want it in the next year anyway as more games come out taking advantage of its hardware and by then it's price will likely still be very 400 anyway or 350 at best.
About the TV.. No I don't have a 4K HDR TV. But I plan on getting one within the next year and by then, like I said the Pro will likely cost the same still anyway, and I'd rather have the Pro sooner than later with FF15 getting its support. Even on a 1080p display there will be noticeable upgrades to the visuals though so that's still enough reason for me to want it. The Pro patch will still give a boost in anti aliasing, persistent 1080p resolution, smoother/higher frame rate and more detailed textures.
