@BradPoynor @nicksetzer I agree personal feeling should not be how a Business built on unbias reviews uphold themselves. But regardless to give the game is 9/10 is to each their own, just a very rash reason for a company who's business thrives on unbias reviews is all.
@BradPoynor thats a stupid comment to say "thats how women are viewed by most men" It's not at all how I view women or how most men do.... but it is in fact a game. And to whine about it (like they are) endlessly is just moronic.
Ok can I have one person explain why not buying the game if you don;t like what it stands for is not an ok option? Why do you have to go around flaunting your ideals like they are fact (especially when it's in a game that sarcastically overstates almost everything) Would you guys prefer we make all media specifically conform in a way so that no one is offended? I don't and neither do the majority of people no one wants to be forced into a bland stateless society where all beliefs must be uniform. You know who the last group of people who wanted that were? (I'll let you figure it out.)
@buttercupdoom They are only paying customers if they buy it (and they don't have to if they are offended) noone is forcing you to view or purchase this material ... there are PLENTY of games that don't have these kind of views in them ... this game is specifically set by these views. Imagine san andreas where everyone is just politically correct upstanding citizens ... does that sound fun to you? I think the issue in reality is Peoples need to push their feelings onto others. (aka create false sympothy for a feeling you created yourself...)
Remember that time when you could enjoy a game and not worry about a giant mob of assholes telling you not to play it because it offends them? Those were great times ... you know what a great solution is? If you don't like what it represents don't buy it. But seeing as it is the highest selling game (in a very long time) I don't think most people are worried about it. Mainly just those who have to make their feelings known ... and TBH no one cares about your feelings. (but no one is saying you can't have them, just don't force them on others as if it is some kind of intrinsic law)
@RedLegZeff @Devilish102 It's more so an issue when a critic implies they want everyone to comply to their specific guidelines and views ... don't think anyone is upset she has that view. Everyone is just a bunch of whiny bitches if you don't like it don't buy it then they won't do it anymore ... For example as a man, I would not be offended in any way (not 1%) if every hero was a woman, or if a game had men whoring them selves out (in fact it would be funny in an ironic kind of way) but to each their own ... whining is always fun.
Terminator was a great movie but They should have replaced Arnold Schwarzenegger with a woman ... I just get the vibe that they think a woman can't save the world from a future robotic overthrow.
I agree with the reviewer all game should adhere to a very strict political and moral code that must never be crossed so that all games are exactly the same and have nothing original to offer. Freedom of speech is for dum dums.
@Jumpy7 What has PS4 done better? hardware is all ... and only slightly so and the games shown don't look all that much better than the xbox one games shown ...
