What? The artst-yle or the resolution? Last time I checked this artst-yle is very similar to a lot of Nintendo games.
The HD, physics, textures greatness.I havent looked at a video, so I cant comment on physics. HD? Thats just a resolution. Put that and SMG on an SD tv itll look the same. The textures arent that great, not at all. If you want great textures ill post some screens. Im not gonna lie though, it does look very pleasing to the eye, and thats what counts, but as far as technically? its not impressive to me
nah they wouldnt look the same, SMG would be like looking at a ps1 game compared to this. resolution means clearer more crisp picture, just because nintendo dropped the ball on that and gave you a 5 year old GPHX chip doesnt give you a license to bring us down to ur level when we have moved on to 720p HD etchey buddy check my sig, im above that level, above 720p, above the ps3 and x360. And anyway im making an arguement for the common person, when they see a commercial of this and SMG most casuals wont notice the difference. I know what HD is, but not everyone has HD. A lot of my friends dont have HD TVs, so what does it matter to them? To each his own, and im just giving the point of view for the common man.
you do know HDtv sales have jumped almost to astronomical levels right ? i saw a figure something about last year there was way less than 1% of people that own one, now its up to around 5% so yeah HDTV is becoming the TV of the common man and fast, by this holiday season a big portion of people will have one or be able to experience one at a friend's or familiy member's house.

It may be common but 95 percent people still dont have HDTVs, Im just saying for people who dont have one, and dont plan on buying one, SMG and Ratchet are gonna be similar on their regular TVs.
even if it isnt HD that doesnt level the playing field, its just more powerful hardware they are able to have more effects, more textures, bigger levels, more enemies etc. im not saying SMG will be a bad game im buying it for sure but its not on the same level as this game. and 5% is a big number and when this game comes out in the holidays it will probably double.Just to add to this discussion, TV's don't last forever and actually buying a SDTV within some years will be a "no go". Just face it, SDTV maybe is the most common TV in these day but it's just like when the Color TV came, it replaced the old black&white. Even if people don't plan on buying a HDTV eventually there will be no other TV's to buy. And you're being very silly saying "this won't be diffrent on a SDTV".
