When achievements first came out, it was new and you just HAD to get the achievement for whatever game you were playing. Now, i feel they have become redundant and pointless. Can anyone give me a reason why i should get achievement points besides showing how many i have or how much i can get? I use to be an achievement whore. Now it's just pointless.
I think MS needs to add some type of value to achievements. Like maybe work MS points into achievements or into new clothes or accessories for the avatars in MS with how many ahcievement points you got from what game.
for ex:
lets say i got 350 points in assassins creed, with that, i could unlock his robe to wear for my avatar or some type of accessorie from the game.
or if i get 500 points in halo 3, i could unlock Spartan armor or gun for show. something! any one follow me?
or if i earn like 300 points in Fable II, i can trade in those points for 300 MS pts and once that trade is done, you can't use Fable II achievements to buy MS points again.
even though my idea's may have flaws, the point is, MS, IMO, needs to add motivation for achievements. what can go wrong? MS will profit more if ppl have more motivation....anyone agree?
