How do you feel about used car sales or The Good Will store? Because that is the exact same thing.

Used game sales is not piracy, used games were legally purchased once which means the game publisher/developer has already been paid. You don't see Toyota getting a kick-back if I buy a 2008 Camry, and neither should the game developers get paid twice if I buy one of my friend's games.

This isn't about piracy, this is about used games. Used games were legally purchased once and the dev got their money at that point. The issue here is that the devs want to be paid each time the same physical copy of a game changes hands and that's what's wrong.

Many people purchase games because they know they can sell it back later. With this feature people are going to be much more picky about which games they'll buy and developers will see fewer sales
