It would be nice if they concentrated on game content rather than lame gimmicks like these mounts, pokemon and pointless achievements. Instead we're stuck with another microscopic sized 5-level expansion. Three weeks of content to last us two years
No you can't. Much of the content in WoW overlaps via 'neutral' quest givers. If you had one horde and one alliance character you'd still see much of the same content
I'm actually a little suprised and disappointed by these numbers. This is less than half of what TOR had at this stage of the game and we know how that turned out.
GW2 is a great game, but it looks like the market isn't going to leave WoW, which is really a shame
Sadly you're right, the voice acting is pretty terrible most of the time. I'm not sure if the actors were bored with the script or if they just didn't want to be in the studio. It's a black mark on an otherwise really good game.
I agreed with almost everything you said, the only exception I take is with your take on the voice acting and story interactivity. TOR, for all it's faults is still infinatey better here. The voice acting and the story are by far the weakest parts of Areanet's game.
Let's be frank, the voice acting in GW2 isn't very good at all. For the most part the NPC's are monotone and emotionless,it's like the actors were bored or didn't want to be in the studio. Worse, unlike what you claim there is NO interaction with the story. You watch Arenanet's story, a player can't affect the outcome. You cannot play an "evil" character for example.
You're spot on with the rest of your opionon though. I think overall GW2 is very good and I'm enjoying it, but it does fall short in some areas
