For a long, long, very long time, the only game I had was The Sims. That is one game with hella' replay value. xD So, simply because I've been in that situation (for at least a few years), I think I'd have to answer The Sims (2).

You could just do a quick google search...

Don't worry, I did the work for you. They were planning on putting it on a Mac, but it doesn't seem like it's gonna' happen.

Graphically, yes...

But in originality and quality of games... probably not. =/

S'funny actually. I checked the top games on PC of all time, and only the old, out of date games got extremely high scores. You'd think that with all this eye candy available, somebody would put forth a decent effort to create a all-around quality game. Not that there aren't good games being created right now. =)

Ah I'm nervous! But I think I'll give it a go.

 Thanks!

For somebody who's only had experience putting in a wireless adaptor; how hard do you think upgrading/replacing Motherboard and Processor would be, and putting it in a new case?

(lol, my mother freaked out on me when she found out I did it myself)

So I was looking at some PC games - some new, some old - and realized that each year, there was a drastic change in graphic value. So I got to thinking; which game do you think spurred the graphical (is that a word) revolution of each year?

This year will be Crysis, no doubt about it. Not really sure of the previous years though. xD

Boy am I glad I'm upgrading my PC this year...

And after looking at those multiplatform games/screenshots, I think I will need to buy a PS3! Or 360; whatever has the better games. xD

I thought this was going to be a topic about how you have difficulty playing video games after your amputation. ROFLMAO

I'm not the richest person in the world, so I research as much as possible before buying; unless it has a very good advertisement. xD

Usually I start with something that I'm interested in. Then I go online and look at screenshots, look at videos and determine if this is my kind of thing. If so, I'll read some reviews (though they rarely sway my decision, unless there's an obvious pattern in scores), and finally I check the price tag. =)

Wolfenstein 3D (that first one; from 1993 or something). Back in the day when computers were a rarity xD.
