Sounds like a lot of trouble over nothing.. just sell the card online or in front of the store for $50. You're going to end up paying $65 with tax for a game you don't want anyways.
This is funny cause the my local Frys is offering them for $100 midnight tonight.. and the last midnight (which is rare for Frys) I went to was a Burning Crusade CE pickup. Literally a 100+ stacked everywhere..
that's fine.. this covered the info on being able to use the GH drums as standard use in RB3 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Band_3 I just wanted to make sure if they worked with the guitar and keyboard.
I would've just stuck with getting a RB2 bundle but according to http://www.rockband.com/compatibilitythe rock band 2 drums don't support GH games
Looking at getting some music instruments that work best compatablility wise with both RB and GH games and according to the RB site the GH WoR or World Tour drums/bundle seems to be good.
But if I want to add the RB keyboard and mustang pro guitarto the GH WoR bundle (drums/mic) could I?
Any special attachment do I need.. maybe the madcatz midi adapter thing for the keyboard, mustang guitar, GH drums?
Are the RB2 instruments fully compatible with the GH:WT game, including the song making program? GH:WT is on sale at Fry's for $15 off and considering picking it up tomorrow.
Also how does the RB1 songs transfer? Do I have to own a copy of RB1 or can I just find a copy from a friend or rental store to transfer all the songs to the hard drive for RB2? I just spoke to a Gamestop employee and he wasn't sure...but mentioned I had to beat the RB1 game full to unlock all songs before transfering all of them to RB2. This sounds kind of tedious and not sure if correct.
I can't find a used copy at game resellers and retail price is still $60.
