Too many people are knocking the game because of specific aspects... "the game has a bad fp view while driving, or has fr drops, or is only running at 30fps, or lacks aa, or has oversensitive driving... therefore the game sucks" Forget individual aspects and play the game as an overall package instead and you'll appreciate it for what it is. It's a great game despite specific flaws.
@keeper262 You're not burned out on the genre, you're just burned out on the way developers are doing it. There are still plenty of ideas for an innovative futuristic fps.
No, there aren't too many FPSs, just too many s*** ones.
John Romero is right when he says that the industry has barely scratched the surface of the FPS genre and that there's plenty of new stuff to do with it.
@RevLux @np3trop @Gravity_Slave XONE and PS4 has had plenty of opportunities for a game of this magnitude (genre is irrelevant - I'm talking about quality) and none have cut the mustard quite like this has. Watch Dogs, Destiny, Alien: Isolation to name a few - all good games but overhyped and not the mind-blowing titles everyone, including the developers, were expecting. Why is that? A mind-blowing title will come to these platforms eventually but it should've already happened. Too much hype, not enough substance. Bayonetta 2 had minimal hype yet it delivered. That's how the industry should be.
@Gravity_Slave This game is better than anything released on XONE or PS4. I've had my PS4 for nearly a year and still haven't played an insanely fun game.
