I'm sure we'll see games take better advantage of the hardware in a year or two, but I also think the leap from last gen to next gen this time will be the smallest we've ever seen in terms of graphics. Fact is, the last gen already had impressive fidelity, and we're at a point of diminishing returns where it takes increasingly more effort from devs to make increasingly small gains in image quality.
Now get rid of everybody involved with the movies and bring in a team that actually knows something about Star Trek and respects the spirit of the original source material.

The Xbox One and PS4 will probably the most closely matched consoles in terms of power and features that gamers have ever seen. That's not a coincidence, either. It's a result of MS and Sony watching each other closely and matching each other move for move to prevent either side from getting a large advantage in any area. That's a problem for Microsoft right now, because their box costs $100 more.
