@PILL0W77 @MarcusFeelius Personally, I'll just play on my desktop, but I see no harm in letting people use whatever controller they want - be it a gamepad, keyboard, joystick or whatnot.
@MarcusFeelius People will of course be able to use a keyboard and mouse on the Steam-box if that's what they prefer. There's nothing wrong with alternatives to the current consoles, especially when you're able to play your purchased games across Windows, Linux, Mac and the Steam-box (as long as they support that OS of course, but that's up to the developer).
@Ferrybird @MXVIII @rosen22 I'll do that whenever you educate yourself in how to properly make yourself understood and provide a point in your arguments instead of talking in riddles.
@Ferrybird @rosen22 Steam is a company and wants more money of course. What they're doing with the "Steam-box" is expanding their user base to those who prefer a console than a PC, yet giving them access to their purchased games both on Windows, Linux, Mac and the Steam-box.Unlike Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo - you can pick your platform yourself and play your games on any that supports Steam.I see nothing wrong with that.
@KingofCabal @InquisitorCrox I agree, it pretty much speaks for itself - no matter what platform you're using, as long as it supports Steam you'll have access to your purchased games.
@InquisitorCrox @Ferrybird Yeah, except a good PC doesn't cost 1000$ (It can obviously but doesn't have to).Since any manufacturer can make a "Steam-box" I'm sure there will be several different models to choose from and from several different manufacturers.
