Anime on youtube

I know, I've been spending too much time on youtube lately. I seem to be noticing that there's so much naruto and inuyasha, fruit basket and ohers of the like. It seems to me that the world has fallen for Japanese pop culture. Everyone just loves anime now. It's so popular on TV and on youtube. Especially customized videos like Inuyasha and Kagome tributes, or Naruto and what's-her-name tributes. Hinata I think it is? Either way, I have no problem with it, it just stuck me that people are so deeply involved with anime. I wonder what draws them in? Maybe the round drawings, the unique appearances, or maybe just the fun of it. Who knows? Maybe people just like to look at computer animation because it's just that cool. Anime has taken over the world. RUUUUNNN!!!

Jeff Dunham

I know this seems random, but Jeff Dunham is abolutely fantastic. His vantrilaquism is astounding, his voicing is done beautifully, and his facial expressions, both his and his dummy's, are marvelous. Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Peanut, Bubba J, and of course Walter are done with brilliance. He can go on about anythiong and not laugh, while others can nearly kill themselves from laughter. It's amazing. I highly recommend you all watch his videos on youtube. THey're absolutely hilarious.

Spoilers on youtube

All the hot stuff on youtube right now is mostly spoilers of brawl and other games. I remember the day brawl was released there were hundereds of videos already online with leaks of information and hidden characters the dojo hadn't talked about yet. Now there's my favourite video: the FS comparison. It shows nothing but the FSs of all the characters including DK, Diddy Kong, Fox, Falco, Wolf, Shiek and Zelda, Captain Falcon, bowser, Link, Toon Link, Mario, Pit, King Dedede, and Samus. I can't remember if they did Luigi... either way, it's really cool. You get to see the powers of each of them too. Oh, Ice climbers and Olimar were also shown.

Gamespot tournaments

Is it true that you have to be a subscribed memebr of somesort to GS to be able to enter a tournament for something? I was thinking of entering the Brawl tournament on launch night of the game, but the problem is, I think I need to subscribe in order to enter. If anyone knows if that is true, drop me a line.

Other than that, today's a pretty boring day other than my wife and I sealed our chance of getting Brawl by pre-ordering yesterday, and I can't wait for the launch date of HM Island of Happiness or whatever it's called. HM cute is also said to be released soon. Sweet.

Nintendo's hits

I don't know why but I felt like saying this. My favourite games from Nintendo that I think are ones of the greatest, are...

Mario Kart DS, Harvest Moon DS, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina & Twilight Princess (N64 and Wii), Starfox Adventures, Super Smash Bros Melee, Animal Crossing & Wild World (GC and DS), Nintendogs Dachsund and Friends, Kid Icarus, Super Mario Bros 3, Paper Mario 64, Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, The Legend of Zelda Four Sword Adventures, Harvest Moon (GBC, SNES, N64), and Super Mario Sunshine.

Of course Nintendo has made many more great games, but these are some of what I think are the best.

Well we tried...

Sadly it looks like her union won't be formed after all... too bad, I really wanted to help out with it. Ah...

Anyways, I'm going to reserve brawl this weekend if I can. I pray that it's still possible, because if I don't I won't get that game for weeks, maybe months. Ugh I can't bear the thought.

Has anyone noticed the language use on this site. Not to obsess, but... people, just so they won't get caught, write backwards so that no one can tell they're swearing. THis is most common in their signature. It just really ticks me off that people are that disrespective to this site by abusing the ToU. Haaah...

Only 5 weeks left...

Ever since the writer's strike, we've been given an est.. time of 6 weeks until a new episode of the CSIs. One week down, 5 to go. Oh I can't wait. The best part is they'll continue all the plot lines, finish all the clifhangers, and better yet... continue the season into the summer! I'll actually have something to do during those hot nights, and of course, during the three weeks I'm off work. Ah how lovely it is to think that all that CSI goodness will be back soon enough... makes me wanna scream.

Mods are heroes

Have you ever noticed how moderators are ridiculed and hated amongst people? I think they're heroes for the younger ones. It's great, I love them. They're like cops online. They protect the boards from strong language, and sometimes they even ban users that really needed to be kicked off the site for a while. Yes, they may suspend over what people think are trivial things, and yes they may ban you for lying about your age ont he signup form, but they're just trying to get people to follow the rules. Just because there are rules doesn't mean you can't have fun. And we all have a lot more fun when everyone follows the rules. Seriously, they protect those that are 13, or younger if they lie, and they keep it clean to set an example. Some people say that the people can handle the severity of the language, but really... if you were given an option to corrupt a mind or make a site seem dirty and polluted with hate, violence, threats and harsh words, or instead to have a clean site that sets a good example and that is fun and welcoming to all with absolutely NO inappropriate comments at ALL, which would you choose? Exactly my point. Mods rule. They're the police force of the internet, and I say 'All hail the Moderators!'.

Herm...

Well it seems as though it has been a few days now since I did much on this site, so I'll have to fix that. Well lets start out with this blog!

Anyways, I was curious for a while about a few games coming out. Mario Kart Wii for example, seems to be of poor quality, and will probably join the other long list of games that sucked on Wii. Now I love the Wii, but sadly Nintendo thinks they can slack off witht heir games. Thus, so many are poor and suck. Also, Band Mashups, I mean COME ON. Another band game?!? I've had enough of these. Besides, we don't need fire-throwing guitars here. Oh, and Brawl. Now I know it's greatly anticipated, but I think all of the leaked footage on Youtube and on it's website have left it with fewer buyers than before. I know it'll still do well, but I know a few people who aren't buying it now because of the FS problems, the characters, and the gameplay. Good for them because if they don't want it then they aren't wasting their money, but still. With all the bad coverage about it, people are turning away. It's been getting some harsh criticism lately, which I don't disapprove of, but I also do not approve of some of it either.

Anyways, that being said, some games these days just really make you wanna scream, eh?

Brawl stages anyone?

A few of the stages I want to see back are Poke Floats 'cause they were so precarious, Mute city (but now there's a new version), Fountain of dreams ofr its lovely music, venom because it's Starfox, onett because of the cars, Fourside because it's fun to fight on roof tops in a game, princess peach's castle because of the bullet bills and switches, and the Great Bay because of the turtle, tingle, and the music. I believe onett is coming back but I'm not sure. hmmmm.... oh well. Those were just my favourite stages in melee, so I thought it would be nice to see them again.
