HUZZAH! Finally got around to making the video for my let's play. I don't sound excited/exciting cos my mic died on me when it's quite new. Got a bit put off by it. It's not so much of a "let's play" but more of a "let's comment on my retarded playing" in the end. Lol. And today is very dull and dry for a Friday. I usually like Fridays too. Meh. Must be the monster time that's affecting me.

Overused words of the video: "And", "So", "As you can see", and some other words I can't recall. Lol.

I've only put in captions for the opening and the first stage videos. It'll be an own time, own target thing. Yeah, I know, I'm a mumbler so captions help.

Didn't play much so nothing to talk about.

I'm just in a lot of discomfort because err, it's the time of the month. So what does a girl do beside throwing tantrums and be moody all day?

When s84 mentioned killing time by reading manga/watching anime, I suddenly thought of this particular anime I've watched and thought to myself, "Whatever happened to Darker Than Black?"

So I ended up watching Darker Than Black. Gonna try finish up the series ASAP cos I feel like posting a revew on it. It's pretty radical so far. Nice touch of gore, mystery, and sci-fi. The only reason I watched it was that the title caught my eye when I ran out of anime to watch. I thought it had that gothic and noir to feel to it. Plus, I love black. And man, what IS darker than black? The reason why I stopped watching it? I guess I was caught up with schoolwork and didn't follow up.

Hei is lovely... and he can cook! I'm not going to post an unmasked picture of him until I'm finally done watching it... just to make those of you who have not watched it feel intrigued. :P

Got the cl0wned achievement I've been eyeing this morning. I wanted to get that Save Gnome Chomsky(? I forgot) achievement and I actually made it into the chopper with that damned gnome but I didn't receive it. :(

Maybe I actually have to have it in my hand to get that achievement. I had to drop it cos damned Nick wouldn't get on the damned chopper. SO I JUST STARTED SHOOTING AT HIM AND GOING "DIE DIE DIE!" SO FREAKING MAD! GRRR!

Hi, hi, Huda desu! I've introduced myself as a casual gamer in my profile. Not sure if I've introduced myself as mufujifi's acquaintance so, yeah, I'm her acquaintance and she's freaking awesome!

But why only an aquaintance? Well, mufujifi is very selective in people she wants to associate with so I'm very lucky to be even considered as her acquaintance because everyone else just wants me to go away. Everytime I enter a gameroom, they'll immediately lose because I'm the one screwing things up. Haha! You know, I was one of the people who played The Parish (L4D2) with her and totally left her 4 dead. HEHE. But I actually died before her. -.-" HARHAR Plus, I'm very erratic and a manic depressive so I'm pretty much a weird person and, well, nobody likes to be with weird people, aye?

I don't know if sleeping over at her house can be considered an upgrade from acquaintance to friend as I used her blanket to sleep on the floor. Yes, I slept on the floor, hoping that she'll sleep on her bed but nooooo... she slept in another room instead. I totally absorbed so much wisdom from the wooden floor that I actually can type out a blogpost after not updating for more than a year. My previous post was suspiciously on April Fool's. How about that?

It's not my thaaang to braaag but, pst pst, I'm the one who made mufujifi finish American McGee's Alice and start Alice: Madness Returns. I enjoyed watching her play it. That sounds wrong but what I meant was that I enjoyed watching Alice being manouvered skilfully by mufujifi. Not mufujifi handling the controller like a G6, you perv.

Nonsense aside, what exactly is my use then? Well, I kinda put in quite a bit of effort into a Ninja Five-O Let's Play. I should work on that, shouldn't I? I have a few clips of myself playing Fifa Online 2. Not sure if you wanna see it, but hey. I'll see how it goes.

What started out as a test run on the Wii had become a game I'd like to complete. This game on the Wii platform has received a low score from critics but I thought it was a pretty good game after finishing the first mission. I'll post an update on my progress report for this game soon. It's not as repetitive as they said on the reviews here because of the many achievements you have to strive for. Maybe I'm just the noob who gets easily satisfied and finds everything challenging. Whatever it is, this game makes me want to complete it. End of story.

OpeningMovie

I thought it was rather disappointing. There's the usual opening scene where Bond shoots at us through a peephole but that was it. No game preview or little hints of the storyline. I'm not sure if the game is modelled after the movie because that explains why there was no need to show game highlights like Ninja Five-O.

Mission 1: Sahara Desert

I had no idea what to do! I was just moving here and there. Suddenly, there was a bad guy and I had no idea how to take him down! Had to press all the buttons just to find out which one was the shooting one! I felt sostupid! Being a fast learner, I managed to figure out how and where to rapel down the building. After succeeding the mission, I upgraded my gun (I think) with the points I accumulated. Had to stop playing because I can feel addiction kicking in and I wasn't finished with my essay!

Mission 2: Cairo Casino

First attempt (Stage 1): I suck at stealth! GARH! Took me a whole minute to figure out how to heal myself with the medkit. Heeyer. I failed on the first attempt! First failure of the game at such an early stage! *FAINTS*

Second attempt (Stage 1): As if that is not bad news.... I FAILED AGAIN! I ran out of bullets! Sighs. OK, one more try.

Third attempt (Stage 1): I nailed the stealth part! But I died at the hands of the three idiots. Sheesh. Perhaps, I can nail it altogether this time round.

Fourth attempt (Stage 1): I barely got through! And just when I thought it was all over, there was more! Stealth was needed again and I blew it! ROAR!

First attempt (Stage 2): This time, I was smooth with my stealth. Muahaha! Progressed well until the car chase. -.-" Damn, the game just gets harder. I think the good point about the game is your health is reset after you passed a stage. If not, I can never play this game!

Second attempt [Stage ? (Car Chase)]: I still can't control my car well. How am I supposed to know which car is firing at me? Plus, there were so many things to note! The oil slick and the rocket and the normal shooting -- seriously, I suck at trying to use the correct method.

Third attempt [Stage ? (Car Chase)]: Score! Finally got a grip on things. And finally, the mission is over! I did well for my primary objectives but I missed out on killing one guard through stealth as a secondary objective so I couldn't get my extra 200 points. Grrr! Got 340 points in total. Decided to upgrade my gun again. 200 points used, leaving me with 140. Hmm... Got myself more decent boots and increased the blast of explosives but oh no! I should have upgraded my magazine to hold more ammo since I keep running out of bullets! >.< Sighs. Have 40 points left. Better save up for the magazine upgrade. Egads.

Righto, that's all for today. Next mission will be Cairo Trainyard. I have a feeling it might involve me running on top of the trains. Thrilling but anticipatingly daunting I suppose.
