@redxiii: just watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre, its practically the same. Matter of fact, the dining scene is ripped straight from it. I would prefer a real Resident Evil movie. That follows 6 Star members, in a blackhawk down scenario into raccoon city and they are fighting to get the hell out of the city. But with some serious care and attention.
1.2 billion..............i have and will never ever spend a cent on this sht. Shame on people, for rewarding, terrible movies. lol
If its a reboot , I hope they really THINK about the game stories, the characters in a meaningful way and how to achieve a sense of what its like to be holed up in a mansion or in Raccoon City experiencing fear and the repercussions and the reality that COULD go with it. Dawn Of the dead and Walking Dead are more resident Evil, than resident Evil movies.
who cares, just let them, people will still see it at the movies lol. Release the movie online, i bet you it wont affect the profits. Look at Resident Evil, those movie shouldnt even be making money, but they do. There's no evidence that piracy affects profits. All the stats for piracy, like America loses 250 billion dollars a year, is all made up. I've tried to find a valid source of TRUE statistical data, that backs up the claims that piracy stops people from going to the movies or buying games.
Even piracy when it comes to DVD, the stats are still a myth. Because they are judging on how many people are downloading the movie. But that's still people that have no intention of purchasing the movie. Would they have purchased it, if they couldnt watch it for free anyway? Was it even a sale in the first place?
Im not condoning piracy, just saying. I own over 300 games on STEAM...so..some of those games i own, i first played at a friends house...FOR FREE!!!! then bought the game myself, because I enjoyed it.
