You know what? I think TP was more than epic enough. This series ought to be able to have something a little more lighthearted the next time around, like WW. I'm not asking for something whimsical like MC or PH, as that mood should stay only on the handhelds. But we don't need to keep upping the epicness of the games. TP was a helluva epic game, and we needed it. Now considering how tight-lipped Nintendo has been about the next Zelda, they probably are trying to make it even bigger than TP. Maybe that's the way this series is gonna go from here on out, but I would like to see titles like WW keep things lively.

Heh, really, that's what it was? My birthday was Saturday! I was pretty confused as to what it was, as there wasn't any accompanying message!

The issue has since corrected itself, but I'm still curious if anyone else can explain this to me:

The other day I turned on my DS Lite (it's about two years old now, iirc), and I noticed the 'power-on' chime was higher-pitched than usual. It did this for probably the next five times I turned it on, but like I said, it has since returned to the normal lower-pitched chime. Can anyone explain this, or at least say they've experienced the same thing?

I downloaded the Internet Channel for my Wii just recently. I have no complaints about it, but a thought has entered my mind: Is the Wii immune to the viruses and spyware that normally afflict computers?

As already said, Oracle of Ages/Seasons are not the same game. They have separate plots, but (like the Pokemon games) you can "connect" the two games to make a completed story.

I think you are confusing 'Link's Awakening' with 'The Adventure of Link.' Link's Awakening is a Game Boy title (later re-released on the Game Boy Color) which is the same as all the other 2D titles except for The Adventure of Link. (Oracle of Ages/Seasons actually play/look exactly the same as Link's Awakening, save for some technical upgrades.). Think of it as "A Link to the Past - portable." "The Adventure of Link," on the other hand, is Zelda 2, and was released on the NES. That game is a side-scrolling RPG/platformer. It's the black sheep of the franchise.

It would be nice if you told us who you were referring to. If you were refering to me, the answer is no, I don't confuse Link's Awakening and Adventures of Link. I have played them both and AoL is not high on my list of favorite Zelda games. I don't think NWA_31 is confusing them either. I know AoL is the platformer, but LA has some side-scrolling as well in some of the dungeons. I don't know if N8A is confusing them, but it doesn't seem like it. The game has been released on GBC, so I asume it can be played in colors.

I was referring to theCHUD, you know, the guy who was asking the question.

No doubt, it is the worst game in the series because it is in fact a sidescrolling RPG. It's terribly difficult to play and really is only for the diehards. I've been playing it just to say I did it, but I'm stuck right before the last level. I haven't played it in forever, and if I ever finish it, I'll never turn it back on again.

If you want to complete the Cave of Ordeals, the Magic Armor is indispensible.

Am I misunderstanding, or are we ignoring the double-timeline now?

They said Epona was the motorcycle.  Yeah, ridiculous, isn't it?
