My friend, it's alllll about location.

These people seem to have done fairly well for themselves in harsher conditions, the majority of what I am seeing in this thread is excuses.

Let them learn the hard way, they need to start to fend for themselves. Our charity is only prolonging their opinion that they are entitled to our aid and no longer need to do anything to better their own lives.

This isn't a 35 year old social reject living in mommy and daddy's basement.

I'll have you know you have the age AND the floor wrong!

As far as the whole "let them fend for themselves" they can't, the problem is that they're not supposed to be able to fend for themselves. They're at a technological level where they're never going to advance and they're never going to be able to sustain themselves.

Know how they call houses a money pit? It's a lot like that.

No one wants them killed off (then again I didn't read the entire thread) but they're never going to be more then they are.

Their level of technology has nothing to do with it, humanity advanced itself from less in to what it is now in the majority of other nations on earth. We have done way more than we should in aiding them only to see little to no progress. Let nature take its course. The post earlier about making logical choices instead of emotional ones was spot on, only instead of waiting we need to start implementing some of those ideas now.

Assault was useless in Battlefield 2 (both medic's G36E and support's PKM were vastly superior as anti-infantry guns) and assault will be useless again in Battlefeild 3 (no reason for choosing n00btube instead of defibrillators due in BF3 assault lacks ammo boxes). Of course in Bad Company 2 assault is excellent (he kills infantry efficiently, which is what is supossed to be).

I don't know what kind of BS you're spewing about Assault being useless in BF2. I did perfectly fine with it, they were the front line element in the game with body armor and plenty of rifle and grenade ammo. Just because you were too stupid to use them correctly doesn't mean the rest of us were.

they said in an interview that they used a "beefed-up" PC to render the gameplay trailer.

i'm guessing they Quadfire'd the 4 ATI 6870's and used the latest i7 processor to do that.

the shadows don't even have a tiny bit of jaggy. but yeah, i'm guessing you can't get that kind of fidelity if you have Crossfire'd 2 5970.

They used a GTX 580, it was confirmed by one of the devs on his twitter.

I don't like how it is being done so even with no experience whatsoever it should be done my way because I am smarter than anyone in the military, my neckbeard is proof of this.WilliamRLBaker
This is the only thing I got out of your post, it's not our fault those of us with experience have tried explaining the situation to you.

The high level of ignorance in this thread is alarming. Those Marines are clearly doing an ammo dump in preparation toembark out of country, international laws do not allow transporting certain amounts of ammo out of country. It is also clear they are not executing any target practice, as they are firing in 3 round burst with their M4's, cycling automatic on the SAW and firing one hand with the berertta in order to execute their ammo dump.

millerlight89
I already tried explaining this, no one listened. You're talking to a bunch of thick headed idiots who form opinions before knowing any sort of facts.

You have yet to explain anything.

Actually I did, you just refuse to accept the explanation because it goes against what you want to believe. It's not my fault you refuse to accept the truth; just because we are training doesn't mean we can't have some fun. According to people like you it's all "HERP DERP TAX DOLLARS NO FUN ALLOWED DURRRR."
