[QUOTE="tenaka2"][QUOTE="cslayer211"] Not really true, especially if you practice proper gun safety and know what your doing The logic is perfectly reasonable because you won't get guns out of the hands of criminals even if strict gun control went into place. It doesn't matter if it's even possible to disarm criminals who obtain illegal guns (I don't think it is), it's not fair game for a criminal to be able to overpower a women who otherwise could defend herself with a gun.Mafiree
Everyone who owns a gun thinks they practice proper gun saftey, obviously this isn't the case.
perhaps there wouldn't be so many guns in the hands of criminals of 1 million guns were not stolen from gun owners homes in the u.s. every year... yeah crazy thought I know.
And everyone who drives thinks they are a good driver....... Negligence kills people in both scenarios.Except owning and driving a car is somewhat more necessary than using a gun.
The thought of death used to bother me a lot... A few years ago though I decided that you may as well live life and enjoy yourself while you're here rather than sit around and worry about something you can't control. When I get old, I will feel much more at ease with dying knowing that I gave myself the full opportunity to achieve everything I always wanted to achieve, rather than if I had spent my life not doing anything because I was too busy worrying about dying.
[QUOTE="HybridPhoenix"]...They're not even the best Canadian band ever.. And they don't even have that lasting nostalgia power that Blink-182 does, they just get annoying.FrostyPhantasmBlink is the emo whiny version of Sum 41.
Hell naw, blink 182 >> sum 41.
I did like sum 41 back in the day though.
Bloke in the article did state he thought it was a bit of a stretch to call someone a mass murderer based on the lack of facebook... Don't see how you can come to that conclusion.
However, agree a bit with the general gist of the article that people lacking a facebook usually tend to be a bit more socially "off" than people with one.
Don't see why the complexity of the music matters providing it sounds good tbh.
To answer your question though for me it has got to be Muse or Gorillaz.
[QUOTE="SNIPER4321"]This thread is so stupid that i facepalm. Islam or Id say not a single religion allow killing. ppls do it themselves. thats it. non religious ppls are really idiots.cloud3601
The reason the 9/11 attacks and other attacks happen is because Islam praises violence so much. Muslims must reject teachings like these before we can make progress to fix this problem.
(1)"The command to participate in jihad and the mention of its merits occur innumerable times in the Koran and the Sunna. Therefore it is the best voluntary [religious] act that man can perform. All scholars agree that it is better than the hajj(greater pilgrimage) and the umra(lesser pilgrimage), than voluntary salat and coluntary fasting, as the Koran and Sunna indicate. The Prophet, Peace be upon him, has said, "The head of the affair is Islam, its central pillar is the salat and its summit is the jihad."
[Ibn Taimiyyah, The Religious and Moral Doctrine On Jihad]
(2)"Fighting is good for you, but you (muslims) dislike it, it maybe that you like a thing which is bad for you but dislike a thing which is good for you. Allah knoweth and you knoweth not"
[Quran 2:216]
(3)"Instruct me as to such a deed as equals Jihad (in reward)." The messenger of Allah replied, "I do not find such a deed."
[Sahih Bukhari 4:52:44]
(4)"One who dies but did not fight in the way of Allah nor did he express any desire (or determination) for Jihad dies the death of a hypocrite. "
[Sahih Muslim 2:4696]
... you really have no idea what a jihad is do you? Please google the definition and read the wiki page before posting more provocative dribble.
