@kiryyya have you seen planetside 2? it is free to play and is really a true next generation FPS. and it will be coming to the playstation 4.

we have not played titanfall yet, but for now planetside 2 is what a next gen shooter should be all about. a massive persistent world where potentially 2000 players fight it out in full out war, not small battles.

the debate around MS's vision is about their DRM, used game, region locking and internet policies. that is where MS took a huge 180 turn and reversed everything.

had there been a single coherent vision such a dramatic reversal of policies would not have taken place.

@Tielo1 exactly. MS had no vision with the Xbox One. Even their drafted policies were so convoluted that they themselves could not explain it to gamers.

@kevin_42 @Sefrix they did talk about the policies before the One was revealed.

and after the reveal they again received a lot of negative feedback but refused to do reverse the policies even as late as E3.

regardless, a company which at least has the decency to not make comments like these and to have clearly communicated policies is definitely better.
