like politics and diplomacy, it is important to win the hearts and minds of the people if you are to succeed. Sony has certainly done that.

@udubdawgz @outlawoftorn again, you need to read things carefully. if you disagree with the author then provide a suitable argument.

his points are valid since he cites concrete examples to back them up. just calling things ridiculous is not really a constructive argument.

@udubdawgz @outlawoftorn i cannot argue with you if you have just made up your mind to talk against the PS4 and for the X1. but please read the article carefully and you would realize its not a ridiculous title. try to understand what the writer is saying.

people who are posting all the "who needs indies" comments should realize that these are the developers that start new ips and bring new and innovative games.

their initial games are of course small in scale since they do not have the resources, but Sony is giving them a platform to expand which will result in AAA games in the future from each one of these developers. that is what the article is trying to say.

@oabu yes Halo 3 was definitely what propelled the series into pure awesomeness. i wished bungie would have continued with the series.

Halo 4 doesn't seem to be a bad attempt by 343, but i fear the series will wither down to insignificance if game production is forced rather than imagined.

@Silicoln @outlawoftorn @kiryyya yes it just unfortunate that rather than having interesting discussions and having our curious questions answered it turns into a brawl where you are forced to choose sides.

if i am criticizing either console, its just so things go towards improvement, not because i want to make the gamers on the other side feel bad.

@Silicoln @outlawoftorn @kiryyya i totally agree. like i have said before, the launch is all about third party titles for now, so you cant go wrong either way, at least for the first few months.

you will just have to decide which console gives the best experience for those third party titles.

@kiryyya actually, i cant remember the last time MS released a great exclusive for the X360.

Sony on the other hand has kept me interested even up to the launch of its new consoles by providing great exclusives.

i'd rather go with history than the assumptions that you are making.
