@ssvegeta555: I agree completely but you know that even bad publicity is still publicity. So if they get everybody talking about it then they can come out looking like heroes at the end. Here's hoping they don't completely **** it up
@locomotion97: thanks for posting that link. It makes me feel better about their decision just as long as they're able to incorporate the world map and exploration not just have 60 hours of running through hallways like some other final fantasy games. Thanks again
@louixiii: I blame all the people who said they wanted them to change the game instead of keeping true to its roots and make a faithful remake like Resident Evil did. Congratulations guys they really changed it up
@OtakuD50: Every game with a storyline is considered linear when you put it in those terms. But FF7 had the map that let you discover hidden items and find side quests whereas FF13 had you running down hallways the entire game. One obviously has gameplay more linear than the other
@jinzo9988: your idea of a world map doesn't make sense. You could say the same thing for any video game with a large map. What's the difference between that and Skyrim, red dead redemption, and GTA?
@OtakuD50: like some other people are saying it's not a bad thing for some games but turning this game into episodes will eliminate the open world and make the game very linear like FF13. Which nobody wants
@Xirtahm: I wish they wouldn't be so vague about their actual intentions. Then we could know if they actually came up with a way to make it work before we respond negatively about it. Just going off of what we already know it doesn't look good and it wasn't smart on their part
