Highly realistic massively multiplayer online modern combat war game with extensive involvement of AI. Basically, a truly massive battlefield, where you can participate in multiple ways. All units on such a battlefield would be AI controlled unless taken over by a player, and there would be no respawns. you just described planetside. But that game has 3 sides and is better than what you just described. Too bad the technology just was not up to parr with the concept of the game.

I dont know why halo is so hyped up either. None of the console shooters have anything against pc shooters. I bought halo 3 when it first came out and then listed it up on ebay the vey same day. Played it for about 6 hours and tried to have fun with it but failed.It felt like a chore to play that game.
