@commander: The game was designed as a 2D game, but they have been working on patching VR capability in! It's kind of a new feature, and still in Beta so maybe thats why- but still it is surprising they didn't mention the ability at all!
Woah! I'm a huge fan of Sony's, I think they pretty much dominate the console market hands down. With that being said- what a rude and patronizing statement! Did they hire the same PR firm as Electronic Arts or something??? Such a condescending response- we love hearing our customers ideas, and we'll pretend like we care, but actually we don't.
I wonder how long Sony is going to keep this up. I mean at this point, pretty much the entire industry is open to the idea of cross-play with the glaring exception of the one guy who think's he's too cool for school.
Elijah wood is the creepiest. I'm happy to see what looks like a bigger budget VR game, because we desperately need bigger money thrown into the VR arena... just bummed it's a horror games. HOrror on VR? NOpe. Too scary.
@tman08: a real shame too... Alan wake is what put Remedy on the map for me. Quantum break was incredibly detailed and good looking , but lacked some of the odd ball creative flair that made their previous games so enjoyable.
@frosty988: Yeah, I noticed that as well. It's really just another unfortunate indication that they were working with a pretty low budget. You've got a lot less people on your team, and less money to pay those people- so I can imagine that the budget is focused more on technical aspects of the game. Text changes tend to happen a lot in games too, so you can have a lot of situations where a section of the game is proofread for errors, but then someone goes into to make some last minute changes inadvertently making some text errors. Regardless, it really is hard not to notice some of the errors and does kind of take you out of the experience..
Ha! That's pretty funny- as someone not really interested in the Elder Scrolls series anymore (kind of just got old/stagnant for me...) I got super interested when the headline said it WASN'T open world... Then instant buzzkill to find out it's a mobile. Wah Wah. :)
