@stevo302: You've got a valid point, it might of been interesting to see a story that was more focused on the Kara storyline. But on the other hand, part of what makes this game interesting and engaging is how all of the different perspectives touch each other and interweave. Without the Markus segment it would of been a very different story i think.

@bentleyj10: There is simply no way that a game of this quality could be released for $40. Many games can be tackled in an afternoon, it all depends on the gamer and how you play games. The amount of work that went into this game is huge, by a staff of almost 200 people. It's budget was around 35 million dollars...

@uhtredsson: I think the reviewer comprehended and understood the game perfectly well from his review. I'm glad you enjoyed the game so much. I enjoyed it too. But it's also far from perfect and it's the reviewers job to point out these things in an objective way.

@RaveNRolla: Depends on your game preferences. If you're more interested in story then action, kind of like the TellTale games I think you'll find this appealing. If you are more interested in action then it might not be your cup of tea.

Alright, this game is really growing on me. As DONTNOD's games tend to do. The beginning is really rough and I was honestly a bit worried but once you get past the awful introduction things start to get much more interesting.

Definitely David Cage's best game. It's not without it's problems, which have been amptly pointed out. I'm a fan of QD's work, there aren't a lot of studios of this scale that break the mold of the standard AAA game. If we want to see innovation in games, it's good to support these studios. I've enjoyed his games to varying degrees, but the pretty much always took a bit of a nose dive at the end of the game when he tried to close things off, usually it was due to something weird he would do with the story... this time I did not feel like that at all, in fact I was completely riveted o the story and was really a n edge. My first Playthru I just tried to make quick decisions and I stuck with any decision that I made regardless of negative consequences And I have to say the ending I got was pretty heartbreaking I made a few mistakes and maybe make some decisions that lead to bad things happening but I didn't feel like I got some cheap "bad ending" like how some games with branching endings will make a main "good ending" which is the most elaborate, and then a couple "bad endings" that are much simpler and not really satisfying. Of course, this was the only ending I've seen- but damn, it was powerful and actually left me feeling pretty disturbed and unsettled.

Well, I don't mind this. I've always enjoyed assassins creed, and I think with Origins they really perfected the formula. So if they were to stick with the new gameplay mechanics that came out of origins and slapped on a new story, well i would be just find with that.
