This year we had some great announcements from all the Big Companies including Microsoft, Sony & Nintendo

MICROSOFT

Microsoft had a great show this year. With so many great exclusives & some amazing announcements including Project Natal, Milo, Mass Effect 2, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach, X360 compatibility with Face book & twitter, Left 4 Dead 2, Alan Wake, Metal Gear Rising & many more...

Left 4 Dead 2
Left 4 Dead is a sequel to the super hit multi-player title L4D.A sequel which contains 20+ Weapon inc melee weapons, Day light, 2 new bosses, 5 new scenarios & 4 new protagonists.
The sequal is coming almost 1 year after the first title but the questions still remains:Would the game worth $60? & would the game achieve same success

Hallo 3 ODST
Who doesn't loves more Hallo.The game looks beautiful & i am looking forward to see how the story is revealed because the game is divided into chapters.

Splinter Cell Conviction
Ubisoft has redefined Splinter Cell Franchise with latest installment Splinter Cell Conviction.Sam Fisher is back & is more aggressive, agile & brutal then ever with the new improved game play.The game may not focus on stealth as its predecessors but still looks a great title.

Assassin's creed 2
How the first game Ended, it was sure that we would see a sequel. Ubisoft Montreal is spending too much money on the title because they are quite confident that the game will be a success. I am looking forward to see Assassin (Ezio) flying, swimming & using other Davinci's equipments & how the game fits in Italy's environment."Can't wait"

Face book & Twitter
The connectivity to Face book & Twitter is a great thing & for sure it will increase X360 Community.

Project Natal
The thing which really impressed me about Natal was Voice & Personality recognition. In my opinion Natal totally depends on the creativity of game developers. If they only use it for casual stuff only using camera, then it's ok but if they use it with normal controllers, think what can't be achieved in games e.g. it recognizes your voice so giving commands in games can be fun, in games when you have to interact with something it can respond by reading your facial expresions depending upon your mood.I think Natal can open a new doorway to the gameing if it is used correctly.

Milo
Milo is something great, It's not been done for the first time to create a virtual buddy but definitely Milo has preceded one step further in that direction.
Milo is something which will take years to complete & in fact will never end. At the beginning we can expect a little bit of things answered from him but as the time passes Milo will be able to learn more & more & one day he will become something who will able to discuss on almost every thing. In simple, Milo's knowledge or AI will increase with time.

Metal Gear Rising
This was one of the biggest announcements of Microsoft's conference.Mr.Kojima personally announced that MGR would come in X360.We didn't got much details on the title, the teaser showed that riden will be the main protagonist of this game.

Alan Wake
Alan Wake is back, after so much time finally the game with the blast with it's creepy atmosphere, great storyline & action oriented game play. We can expect the game to be worth the wait.

SONY

Sony also had a great show this year. With the new motion sensing device, PSP GO & blazing exclusives. It's Sony's best E3 after the launch of PS3.
My favourie moments from the show are:-

Uncharted 2:Among Thieves
Sony started it's show with the most awaiting title Uncharted 2.In the demo Sony showed the single player Campaign of the game. The demo left me wanting for more. I really loved the game & this will be one of my Day 1 Purchases.

PSP GO
PSP Go was one of the worst kept secrets of E3 cause the news & pics were released days before E3. As confirmed by Sony, PSP Go won't take over normal PSP and It is created for different type of audience who like digital downloads as compared to UMD's. PSP Go will have 16 GB of internal memory & more can be increased by flash memory, There will be no support for UMD & It will be 40% lighter then original PSP.

Gran Turismo (PSP)
GT PSP was first announced in 2004 & was one of the first titles for PSP. More then 5 years later, We finally saw the game in action. This is definitely one of the finest titles in PSP Library.

Little Big Planet (PSP)
LBP is one of the most innovative games ever made. Everyone (Including Critics) loved the original LBP for PS3 but the question is Will the conversion from PS3 to PSP work.

MGS Peace Walker (PSP)
Truly I wasn't expecting this, I thought that PSP MGS title would be MGS Digital Graphics Novel 2 but this is far far better then it. Hideo Kojima is personally directing this game, So it can't be bad. The most awaited missing link from MGS saga is now here, I hope after this Kojima even makes remake of MSX titles.

Gran Turismo 5
The fifth title in GT franchise is in production from long time. First we were given GT HD & then GT Prolouge but finally we saw the complete version in action this year. Which is great but still no release date is annoying.

Modern Warfare 2
The original Modern Warfare was a massive success, It had huge sales & won a lot of awards and after seeing how good the sequel looks in E3, It's really hard to wait. Hope it even breaks the records of first Modern Warfare.

Final Fantasy XIV
It was a big surprise, We were given very few details about the game in Sony's Press Conference but we got the details the next day in Square Enix press conference. The game will be an Online title like FFXI & will be released on PS3 & PC in 2010. I personally didn't played FFXI so I am looking forward to this one.

God of War 3
Kratos is back in his first & last appearance on PS3. We can not forget how great the first two titles were. So our expectations for the final part in GOW trilogy are very high. This time we will have to see how the story ends & how the creators take advantage of PS3 hardware. I simply can't wait anymore. This is one of the most anticipated titles of all time & my Day 1st Purchase.

NINTENDO

I know everyone will agree that last years NN conference was horrible. So Did the NN learnt from it's mistakes?, Well it's a tough question.
I can't say that NN conference was best & focused equally on Hardcore & Casual gamers but I can say that It was better then Last Year. I think the future will be more bright. The things I liked in NN Conference are:-

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS)
The first DS Zelda title was amazing & this one also looks good. The game will have all the feel & fun of Zelda title & will be as awesome as other Zelda titles.

New Super Mario Brothers (WII)
This is one of my most favourite titles this year. The concept is simple Multi-player Mario game, Which has four players. It is a fast paced & simple game. I can't wait to lay my hands on this game.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (WII)
A final fantasy designed especially for NN WII can't be bad. It will be a wonderful experience.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (WII)
After the success of RE Umbrella Chronicles, WII is having some Horror titles. Capcom's Silent Hill franchise is also making it's way to NN WII. The Game's Creepy atmosphere, Good Sound Design & Incredible lighting will definitely make the people scared.

Dead Space: Extraction (WII)
Dead Space Extraction is a prequel to the original Dead Space. It is an On-rail Shooter & looks impressive. The game can be played in Co-Op, The developers say that they are trying to do something innovative on WII but only the time will tell what happens to Dead Space.

Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles (WII)
The first Resident Evil on WII was a huge success. The developers are once again making a On-rail shooter for WII. The game will contain scenario's from RE 2 & RE Code Veronica and will also fill in Loose Holes in the plot. The first title tied into RE 5, I hope it ties into RE 6. This is one of my most awaiting titles this year.

Wii Sports Resort (WII)
WII Sports Resort will feature more games & will be more accurate, Thanks to the use of WII motion Plus. It is a great casual title. In my opinion it will be huge fun & will sell well.

Golden Sun (DS)
The Golden Sun was one of biggest announcements of NN Conference. The game takes place in the world of "Weyard". The main Protagonists & Antagonists will be replaced by the original series descendants. It will be an amazing game & I can't wait to lay my hands on it.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 (WII)
Super Mario Galaxy is a true sequel to 3D Platformer Super Mario Galaxy. Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto states that the team had originally planned just to do variations on the original game's planets, but over time thought of all new ideas, He also stated that the game will be more challenging. This is my most awaited sequel of all time & I know is also of many others.

E3 is Back and it Looks Better then Ever

E3 is moving back to it's roots to the Alley Conventional Centre, Los Angeles. It won't be as bad as last 2 years for sure.

As we know E3 is going back to traditional format, So we can expect a lot this year and it's kinda cool. I don't think it will be the best E3 but I at least think there will be more people as compared to 07 and 08. I am expecting a great coverage from GS and I am sure they wouldn't disappoint us as always. I just hope there are some cool looking Emblems this year, That's all...................

1 = The three Press Conferences

SONY

This might be the best year for Sony because this year the software line up of PS3 is the best as compared to Nintendo & Microsoft. If Sony plays the card right it can win this years E3 because of It's flaming Exclusive titles like God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Gran Turismo 5, Uncharted 2, MAG and the most important Project Trico, the sequel to the ICO and in my opinion it can be the show stopper for Sony. Not only PS3, The psp has also got some good games coming such as Tekken 6, Assassin's Creed, Little Big Planet, Rock Band & more................

Rumors are that Sony is going to announce new PSP entitled "PSP GO" in E3. The new handheld will feature a touch screen and No UMD instead it will download games directly from PSN store. It is also announced by Sony CEO that more than half of the Sony PSP's title are still pending, This also point towards the announcement of new PSP.

In the end, We can expect a price drop from Sony because with such a great line up of games a price drop will be a definite reason to buy a PS3 and will be helpful to increase the sale figures.

MICROSOFT
=-=-=-=-=-=-=

As Microsoft has promised to announce something that will completely change the concept of what people think about Home Entertainment. Microsoft has a hold of hardcore gamers but struggles with casual gamers and the above mentioned announcement seems to be about the XBox Motion camera which is especially designed to target the casual gamer. The Rumor has it that this camera will be more accurate than any previously released camera e.g. PS Eye Toy. This camera will be able to pick up the motion of player, It will be somewhat like Wii controller but without controller.

Microsoft XBox 360 seems to be short of exclusives this year, What games we expect to see in E3 is kind of mystery. I am quite sure that Microsoft is going to show Halo 3: ODST and the long awaited title from Remedy Entertainment (Creator of Max Payne) known as Alan Wake, It is also rumored that we might see MGS 4 for X360.

Last Year Microsoft totally neglected PC and it's not good, The company that should support PC is completely abandoning the platform. We might expect a PC part this year because E3 is going to the old format. If Microsoft is going to have a PC section in Conference then a port of Halo 3, Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 can be expected. Some of the most awaited sequels can also make it's way to PC e.g. Half Life Episode 3 and Crysis 2.

NINTENDO
=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Last year the Nintendo show was focused on Casual gamers and that was also observed by Nintendo. That's why NN President Mr.Sataru Iwata apologized to traditional gamers. This means either this year Nintendo has definitely planned something big for E3 OR it has nothing to showcase.

I doubt that because Nintendo has mentioned several times this year that people are becoming less & less interested in WII, So it is quite possible to have something surprising in this year's E3.

As for software line up, I am quite sure that they will show Dead Space:Extraction, Red Steel 2, No more Heroes 2 and the most waited Pikmin 3 [From the team of Mario & Zelda]. We can also expect the announcement of New Zelda and Mario.

A Price drop in WII & accessories can also increase the already high enough sales, Since the launch of WII we haven't seen a price drop so it's definitely a possibility. Nintendo also has to offer some compelling line up for DSi using cameras to increase it's sales.

2 = My most Anticipated Games

Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect was a stellar hit of 2007, This was one of the best futuristic RPG's ever made. While as far as I have heard the game will pick from where the first game left, The choice's you made in the first game will have effect in second one [If you have kept the save of mass effect]. So, this means the consequences of the actions taken in the first game will occur in second. We definitely have to see what's in stores from Bioware for us.

Bioshock 2

Bioshock was one of the best games ever made, From it's story telling, sound effects, presentation, voice acting to graphics everything was stunning. This time the game takes place in future and we will be playing as Big Daddy protecting little sisters this time around, Fighting are new nemesis Big Sister. This time we have to notice how first game merges into second.

Assassin's Creed 2

This first Assassin's Creed left us in a cliff hanger, And this time around the game takes place in Venice and with a new

protagonist Ezio. The rumors has it that this time we will be able to swim & use Da Vinci's flying machine can't wait to see

how this fits in Assassin's Creed universe. All of us expect that all answers from 1st game should be cleared in this one.

I am Alive

We have only seen one teaser until now in last year's E3, I am expecting to see some more this year cause the first trailer was awesome.

GTA IV "The Ballad of Gay Tony"

Definitely I am expecting that this time they add something groundbreaking to the game e.g. Seasons especially snow, Air Jets or even a jet pack.

Next Kojima Productions Project

Whatever it is. It seems until now like a special edition of MGS 4 like existence or something, Which will be released cross

platform. If that's not true it can be a brand new MGS title for PSP or PS3.

Bayonetta

From the creators of Devil May Cry, Bayonetta a hack & slash title is coming. The game is about a witch who has two guns in hand, two in feet and a sword and she also has the ability to turn into a panther (kind of thing). If the game play can match the action shown in trailers, Then this is a definitive Blockbuster.

Shinji Mikami's Project
Shinji Mikami the creator of Survival-Horror Genre and Resident Evil has left the Capcom and is working with Suda 51 in an unknown project with EA, he is also working on a separate Horror title yet unknown made by Platinum games and will be released by SEGA.
Any of the both titles can be shown at E3 and I wish both of them are showed.

Max Payne 3

The first two titles of the series were made by Remedy entertainment, Both of them received great reception but this time the third title is made by Rockstar Vancouver, the creators of Bully. Only the future can tell that Rockstar Vancouver will succeed or not, But for now hope to see a teaser from MP 3 in E3.

God of War 3

The first two games were brilliant and the second one increased the hype so much for the third title. This is no doubt, GOW 3 is one of the most brutal and the most awaited titles of all time. We finally wish to see some game play demo. In the end, I can only say one thing for this game, In the end, there will be CHAOS.

The Secret World

The first two titles from Ragnar Tornquist were in The Longest Journey universe, Both of them were beautifully crafted and had a wonderful story, The weak aspect about Tornquist's games is game play, they are simple and lack depth, hope they fix it this time. Otherwise I love the story telling of Ragnar Tornquist.

Modern Warfare 2

No doubt this is the most awaited title in the list of many people. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was one of the best games ever made and had one of the best online ever made, Let's see can Modern Warfare hold up to the name of the first one.

Alan Wake

Alan wake is a title made by the original creators of Max Payne, The concept of this game is really awesome, That you are a writer, who goes to a town & everything goes to hell as he was describing in his last novel. The creators are making this title from the past 4 years, So we can expect a lot. I am really looking forward to this game since it's announcement, Can't wait.

Tekken 6

This is my most favourite fighting franchise of all time, I played it's last installment over 300 hours. This time the online will blow away all of it's competitors for sure cause I have heard Namco is changing something huge in online content. This is one of the most awaiting fighting franchises. Tekken 6 has taken more time then it should have but this means that we can expect a lot. The game was made for PS3 engine from ground up even the arcade version, The developers say they are having hard time for creating X360 port, Hope so they give us an accurate release date.

I have only made this blog to inform everyone that as you already know the E3 is here and as always there will be cool emblems in E3. Normally there are 3 emblems each year which you can obtain.

1st Type = You can obtain this by watching any one of the following Press Conferences, It has 7 different versions (AS of Last year). You will obtain an emblem by watching one of the Shows and in future it only gets upgraded. The best one can be obtained by watching all 3 conferences LIVE.

2nd Type = You can obtain this emblem by watching a day of coverage of Gamespot. There are thre types of this emblems but may be there will be four this year because the coverage is of four days. For watching only one day coverage you will obtain the emblem and in future it will only get upgraded. THE BEST ONE can be obtained by watching all days coverage of GS.

3rd Type = This is the toughest one to get and has only one type. You can obtain it by watching each & every live feed, All videos and reading all stories.

There is something wrong with my DSL Connection, It just stops working for hours & hours. I contacted the administration and they say there is a problem with our server and it will be corrected as soon as possible.

This problem is occuring from May 26. I hope it gets fine until E3 or otherwise I will loose the chance to gain the emblems and I definitely hate that.

Infamous is out now and has become an overall hit.................

Truthfully I wasn't expecting this, I thought Infamous will fall flat because what good can be a game where the only thing u can do was using electricity.............

But the game changed my mind after playing game for at least 6 hours, I can say Infamous is one of a kind game and it may have scored higher if GTA IV or MGS weren't released last year (Because ranking system is tough now days)

I am expecting a lot from Prototype although radical entertainment doesn't has any big thing under it's sleeve except an OK title "Scarface"

I though Prototype will wash away Infamous but after infamous being a super hit, I am having doubts that whether Prototype will defeat Infamous or even will be up to the standard of Infamous is a question now

A game known as Dreamfall:The Longest Journey was released in 2006

Was a great adventure game & was a sequel to The Longest Journey, One Epic clllasssicc of it's time

Unfortunately the developer's didn't earned a lot from the sequel and abandoned the third part known as "Dreamfall Chapters", I really wish that the trilogy ever gets completed

I played Dreamfall long time ago & now days I was thinking to pick up something new but fortunately got this game once again..................

After playing it for some time, I have started to remember Dreamfall wasn't a game it was an experience

I finally some how got my hands on my last hope..... ROCKET LAUNCHER......and took care of the drone

As I mentioned before about my exams, On 22nd (Last Day) I had my last paper and now I am free for 2 12 months or So

And in the mean time my brother took over my profile, I didn't commented, Posted, Blogged or Visited since 1st May

And Ofcourse Majority of my time will be spent on playing games for sure

By the way the IMPORTANT THING IS from now on I will be BACK...................

Right now we don't know how the story unfolds but a game made on Iraq war and especially in Fallujah is a very shameful decission.

Many of you don't know exactly what all criticism is. Like a representative from the U.K. peace group, Stop The War Coalition commented,

"The massacre carried out by American and British forces in Fallujah in 2004 is amongst the worst of the war crimes carried out in an illegal and immoral war. It is estimated that up to 1,000 civilians died in the bombardment and house to house raids... The American led assault on Fallujah pretended there were no civilians left in the city BUT over 50,000 people remained in their homes and took the brunt of the violence and chemical weapons...To make a game out of a war crime and to capitalise on the death and injury of thousands is sick... The massacre in Fallujah should be remembered with shame and horror not glamorised and glossed over for entertainment."

Wanna know more check out the wiki page. If the game is made to hurt us Muslims around the globe, A game like this should never be made and should never be released

BUT if the game tells that those were wrong decissions what happened in fallujah then this could be a worthy release to tell the people of entire world that how horrifying and brutal war is.........................

My exams are starting from 6th of May and will end on 22nd may, then the paracticles will continue.......

You know people like us who r pretty scared of exams and haven't done anything entire year in clas rooms and have wasted:question:their time playing games and doing crap have to worry in the end:D

So I will be gone from website for some time actually until june as much as i think & will return on E3 folks

So I will miss ur quality talks and blogs for some time.................. but I will be back soon better than ever
