Mario Odyssey sold 10+ million. Expecting Pokemon to go beyond that.

And now that I see your clarification, you are saying 25% of people that are going to buy the Switch are buying it for Smash Bros.? LOL so you mean 75% of everyone else buying the Switch will be buying it for other games?

My point is, no shit. This year's biggest games for Switch this holiday season are going to be Smash Bros. and Pokemon and people will be buying them this year for those games just the same way people bought the Switch last year for Zelda and Mario.

Next year...the main Pokemon feast will be the big thing, too. And who knows, maybe a Metroid, maybe? We'll see what's in store. Nintendo doesn't project themselves so many years into the future anymore. As they have stated numerous times now including this past E3, they only intend to focus on spotlighting the big games that are meant to come out within the same years. They haven't talked about next year yet because they have a different approach now. For all we know something big might be in store.

Saying people are only going to buy a Switch for Smash Bros. this year is like saying people are only going to buy a PS4 for Spider-Man, which will be true too.

Looking at sales super smash bro is not that huge system seller but I dont know man. These nintendo fanboys will buy everything that has mario attached to it.
