@OmegaRecon And now that Ubi's ruined most of those, Arma's pretty much the only game in town, so it's a good thing it's a great series.

Not many could afford that, and it just so happens that any who could would be even worse than Vivendi. This couldn't end well.

@PS2fweak I'll grant you Hideki Kamiya, as he actually WORKED on ONE DMC game, but the only other people who had anything to do with it were Inaba and Mikami, neither of whom did any real work on the game (they were producers). So that's it. One person. Platinum has alot more than one person making games.

When MGSR lost the Kojima gang, it lost its soul. I mean, I like Platinum, but this looks... Like almost everything else Platinum has ever made. They REALLY need to broaden their horizons, and do it a safe distance from something MGS related...

@plasticreality @sagtlthl So? While they CAN just cram the best hardware possible into that machine, it seems likely Ubi spent alot of time making this look as good as possible, that is, better than they'll bother trying for the retail version. They do it all the time, PC footage or not.

@2fistsintheair This IS the same old thing, just not Splinter Cell's thing.

They've abandoned the core of SC (it looks like anyway), for something even more trad and unoriginal.

Everything about this is just wrong. I'm hoping this is not AT ALL representative of the game, because what I see here isn't a Splinter Cell game.

@sagtlthl Knowing Ubisoft, this was not only likely a highly scripted scenario, but was probably far more carefully optimized than the actual product will be. Ubi has a tendency for making visually misleading promotional materials.

The 360 and PS3 are current gen systems, so yes it is.
