@tanerb Hopefully they'll eventually hand it off to some studio that can actually make a good PC port (Demiurge comes to mind).

@tommy_boy9999 You seem to have completely misunderstood me.

You told deathstream to look at the facts, yet you come to wild conclusions without any evidence. Neither of our views on the parties in question are relevant to my post, my only point was that your claims are not supported by demonstrable facts, despite your insistence that others look to said "facts".

@tommy_boy9999 Perhaps you should practice what you preach. I know of no facts to back up anything you've said.

An easy to find fact, on the other hand, is that a few Republicans have criticized the solyndra situation in a somewhat less than reasonable manner.

@Darkeus From what I know about th RI governor (and that whole state, really), it seems entirely possible that HE is responsible for at least some of this.

Granted, I'm far from an authority on the matter.

@decoy1978 Yeah, considering their... Philandering with EA, I kinda just assumed EA was somehow responsible, one way or the other.

@Slash_out I can't say with any certainty, but I really doubt that was the case for them. They likely knew just how easy it would be to land another highly lucrative contract (not to mention the lawsuit was probably their first thought). Wronged though they may have been, West and Zampella seem very much to be businessmen, and likely knew just how little jeopardy they were in, and just how to exploit the situation ($1 Billion? FAR worse has happened to people who have gotten far less, and stilled called it justice).

@kuda001 Oh, I know. That doesn't make it any less amusing, though.

It's strangely entertaining watching lawyers try to phrase things in such a careful manner as to make their clients sound as victimized as possible. I mean these guys might well deserve a victory (I'm obviously not privy to case details), but "The firing was devastating... They were stunned, they were shocked, and they were demoralised" really doesn't mean much more than "oh yeah, that sucked I guess", coming from a lawyer.

@Darnasian Well, I think you're half right. It's a singleplayer/co-op online game. At this point "online" doesn't need to denote a massive multiplayer focus.

Would be nice if that weren't the case, but D3's success sure as hell won't discourage this kind of thing.

@rapiergv Pretty much. For those who haven't played it, it's made more apparent here: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/05/18/how-diablo-iiis-solo-experience-reveals-a-hollow-game/

Which is not to say it isn't fun, but that fun, wherever and for however long, is just not quite what it should be.
