@TrueGB It didn't go to court. 3DR basically just said, "You know what... Nevermind, we worked it out."

@shingui5 @garysingh34 Consoles DO represent a threat to market share and all that. It's nothing to get too serious about, but it's no different than how each console poses a threat to one another.

@junglist101 A bit much for the hyperbole, there. It was mechanically superior, but It was *marginally* worse in every other way, that's it.

Besides, as I understand it, Starbreeze's shake-up happened just before AODA, so it wasn't really the same people that did EFBB.

You don't need justification to have boobs. More than half the population has them, and they're not going away. There doesn't appear to be any rampant objectification here, there seems to be no attempt to portray the entire gender through this one character, and for all we know, there might well be an interesting and compelling (albeit, in a Kojima sort of way) chracter behind those boobs. If none of that were true, I'd be inclined to agree with Ellis.

As it is, he just saw boobs and decided it was bad. Maybe he should be more critical of his own company, who just kept sexualizing cortana more and more for no damn reason.

@grauberger @parrot_of_adun @Kooken58 @kimyi Erm... I don't think gun control would bring about a psychic police force... Anyway, Americans would still have the right to own firearms, there would just be a stringent process in place to deter criminal activity (universal background checks, national registry, etc). It wouldn't be a ban.

Also, no. No city or state has an outright ban on firearms. Gun laws do vary from place to place, but there is no jurisdiction in the country that has banned all firearms.

@blackbeltjones No one's complaining that MS is offering such a service, but that they're focusing so much more on it than on important matters. This news kinda just squeaked by compared to Sony's other press stuff.

@grauberger @parrot_of_adun @Kooken58 @kimyi So? I never claimed gun control would bring about world peace and stop all crime in its tracks. All I'm saying is that there's abundant evidence that properly wrought gun control does have a highly positive effect on whether people get shot.

@Kooken58 @kimyi Actually it does, and there are perfect bits of evidence all over the world. It worked wonders in Australia and it's working very effectively in the UK, to name a few off the top of my head. Gun ownership in those countries is tightly controlled, yet both have some of the lowest gun violence rates on the planet.

It only failed in places where corruption is rampant and where laws are very poorly enforced (i.e. South Africa, where they suffer greatly from both problems). If the US can responsibly and effectively enforce the law, then gun control *will* work.
