reeco41 Oblivion was one of the games i played on both ( PS3 and 360).How can you possibly say that the PS3 version wins hands down? What are you on about? Either you didn`t play the 360 version or you are dremaing. The 360 version looks better and it`s smoother. I can not belive what you said about Oblivion. After that how can you expect to be taken serious ?
This is becoming a bit old. Now that i had the opportunity to play a couple of games with the PS3, i have no problem in saying that the xbox 360 has better games, better graphics and is better LIVE. So, please argue no more, Play your Blu-Ray videos ( if you no where to find them) in your PS3, listen to your music in the PS3 and go on-line with the PS3. I use my DVD player to play music, my video player to play videos and my PC to go on.-line. To play games i intended to use my 360, because now i know, that in this department is better than the PS3.

Red Fire4 it seems to me you are a bit paranoid about Game Spot and its intentions. Game Spot was completely right about the article you just mentioned. I live in the UK and i go to France everyweek as part of my job. I can assure you this is no conspiaracy, the PS3 is not selling well at all in the UK or in France. I don`t know about the rest of Europe. In London shops are going out of their way to sell the PS3, however, people don`t seem to be interested in it. I reckon this is due to the PS3 late release in here. People got bored of waiting and bought the 360. Now we really like the 360, its games and xbox live. I really think Sony shot itself in the foot in Europe. They lost a major opportunity to be the next-gen market leaders. Like i said Game Spot is completely right on its assessment of the PS3 in the European market. We were won over by the 360. At the moment a lot of people feel there is no reason at all to buy a PS3. Having said that, the Wii has been a complete success. People love it. It is completely sold out and the demand for it is such you can not get one for love no money. I personally don`t care about the Wii but there is no doubt that offers something different and innovative. The PS3 on the other hand,is failing to beat the 360 in games and graphics. I know the PS3 has this, that and the other. So what? People buy consoles to play games. And so far its games and graphics are not as good of what the 360 has on offer. I hope this has provide you with some help to get rid of your paranoia about Game Spot and its intentions. By the way i am no defense lawyer for Game Spot or work for them in any way shape or form. slicksteve22 i don`t use usually bother to answer stupid remarks like the one you just made, however, in this case i am going to make an exception. You said :" the main market is america". Now that just sound stupid, ignorant, arrogant, single-minded and xenophobic. Why should the States be the main market? Just Europe alone has twice as many people as the States. Spending power in West Europe is higher than the States, on top of that you have Australia and the rest of the world. I have to mention this because i really want to illustrate what a foolish uneducated remark you made. The second point was why i rated some of the 360 games boring.I did that because i am honest but if you care to look i gave a lot of top marks to other games. Even you can understand that there is no such thing as a console with 100% of games scoring top marks. Eventually i want to buy a PS3 that is the only reason why come in here. I like to read what PS3 owners have to say. However, taking into account the games released for PS3 and the 360 there is no doubt that the 360 is at present a better console for gaming and offers much better value for money.
Anasto17 i am sorry to tell you but you have your facts completely wrong. How can you say Microsoft is exploiting people and the PS3 prices are fine. In the UK the basic PS3 costs 424 Uk pounds ( I guess that is close to 800 US dollars). PS3 games range from 49.99 to 59.99 UK pounds. The 360 20GB costs 249 pounds and new games vary between 24.99 and 39.99 ( the majority cost 29.99). If there is one thing the PS3 is well ahead of the 360 is on the over pricing of its products. Please don`t tell us the PS3 is losing money and they are under-charging people. Who cares about that .The PS3 is very expensive and so are its games. I am sorry about my 2 previous deleted posts. I deleted them because i was about to give Bear 1961 a bit of a roasting but i`ve changed my mind because i dont want to get in trouble with Game Spot. Bear 1961, i came in here because i like Game Spot and its forums and i wanted to read people`s comments about the PS3 because i need to make up my mind if to buy one or not when they are released in Europe. I have never said that PS3 was bad in order to make me appreciate how good the 360 is. Unfortunately instead of getting opinions about the PS3 and its qualities or lack of it, all i get is rubbish talk about the 360. Bear 1961 my question to you is, if this is a PS3 forum why are you slagging off the 360? What is wrong with the PS3 that makes you so bitter? Sour grapes, it seems to me that is your problem. Anyway, i would like to ask the people who played the PS3 if i should buy a PS3 or not, considering that i already own a 360 and i am very happy with it? I do not want to know about all the stuff that comes with it, all that matters to me is what it `s ike to play games? That is my only concern. If you need to attack the 360 to comment on the PS3, your opinions are not worth reading. Like i said before, i have never seen or let alone play with PS3 so you find no biases from me towards the 360 or the PS3.
