no, it clearly shows crytek holds a ps3 bias. because 360 has more megabytes of memory avalible to dev's to add more physical polygonal meshs and higher res textures. it's just blatant sabatoged.[QUOTE="pcgamingisgod"][QUOTE="nyctota"]

Both have 512mb of memory, PS3 is split up but both can still be used. You now nothing on the architecture of either machine, nor how to program for them. Crytek have infinitely more experience than you. Whta makes you think, you know what they are doing, and they're mucking it up? Wow, just wow
i know alot more than you and john carmack even said 360 has more megabytes of memory free for dev's to work with.[QUOTE="pcgamingisgod"]lol, ps3 version having better textures is like saying a 128 8800 ultra lol if they made one mb video ram will run crysis better than 768 mb version, the 128 version would start chopping because would run out of memory trying to load high res textures, so you'd have to lower texture res so it fits in memory runs at a good speed. maybe i didnt explain it good, but clearly this is sloppy xbox360 programming.nyctota
sure you know about programming
lets all focus on ram numbers and forget how a system work together inside the box...
ram is most important thing on consoles.the moutain clearly as more detail on ps3 version, but this proves crytek is a crap dev, no way in hell 256 mb/256 mb should better textures than 512 mb unified. clearly crytek suck at 360.[QUOTE="pcgamingisgod"][QUOTE="NickJDon"]PS3 version looks a lot better. PS3 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/iceatcs/Cryengine3_PS3_3.jpg Xbox 360 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/iceatcs/Cryengine3_360_3.jpg Notice the 360 shot looks blurry and lacks detail in all areas. Oh and I remember hermits saying Crysis would never be possible on this gen of consoles, and it would never come to PS3 or 360, they are eating huge amounts of crow now.nyctota

Haha! This is such a facepalm that I don't even need to comment on it :D
512 mb ram unified shared between cpu/gpu gives dev's more freedom over how much the cpu or gpu uses in megabytes. plus it has 10 mb edram, and the operating system only uses 30 megabyes while ps3 uses atleast 60 mb of ram for it's xmb crossbar. 30 megabytes is alot in consoles, but ps3 doesnt allow dev's to use any amount of ram they want on gpu/cpu. clearly crytek suck at 360's hardware because if dev's pushed both consoles to limit it's a fact the 360 version should be the better looking one.
