Most of the people on this board are extremely depressing. Really though, thats to be expected. Anyway, the meaning of life is what you decide to be. I realized your sig..........if your Christian (like me) then your meaning in life is to be Jesus-like, to live well, benefit all those around you, and simply, live happily and properly (as in, no sin, or at least attempt).

The idea that we live to die is dangerous. The idea that we live because we are here, and we must live for the moment, is also dangerous. If you are not religious, then you must make meaning in your life. Do so quickly; no meaning will lead to conflicting feelings, depression, etc. Even if someone is happy simply living in the moment, there comes a time when mankind must look beyond his own station in life. So meaning must be added to life when you have no meaning to live by. That is why I don't like these posts; there is a almost general conclusion that we live because we exist. Thats dangerous, because once you believe there is no meaning in life, then depression, death, or even carelessness, laziness, failure, are all at your disposal.

By one thing to say to all the posters before me: life with meaning, don't let life be your meaning to live

Lets get something clear: the Israelis are victims of Arab aggression. Hence they retaliate. Now, you can talk crap about human rights, and how Israeli is comitting war crimes, but when your enemy is a population, when 1 out a 1000 (theoretically) can be a threat, when some random guy out of millions on the street might want to kill your people, you have to retaliate. Make no mistake, Israeli has nuclear weapons. They can end this crap fast. But that is not the proper way. Killing doesn't solve problems. Israeli has done some pretty bad things, but when your population is on CONSTANT alert for terrorist attacks, as if it was the US after 9/11, but each and every single day, then things fall into prespective

I am seeing some serious skewing of info on this topic. Israeli, the actual land, was the Jew's in the first place. It never formed an independent nation, because the land constantly fell under foreign rule. The Palistinians never had an identity, till the Jews fought back the invading arab armies in 1949. Understand that Israeli, from the time of Roman rule till now, has never been more than one nation. Hell, the Jews never truly left the area; yes, they were expelled in massive numbers all over the Roman Empire, but some pockets remained in the land.

Furthermore, Islam as a religion is sort of contradictory. There is a passage in the Quran, forgive me for I forgot the specific location, that states that "pagans" shouldn't be on muslim lands. Killed or converted, in other words. Sure, Muslim policy hasn't been this always (hence the relative tolerance of the Ottoman empire) but the return of Muslim fundementalism also leads to the return of this ideology. I am particularly scared for Britain. There, Muslims are more and more isolated from mainstream society, and will eventually turn violent. Back to Israeli, violence has been long ago, and continues. Israeli invasion of Lebanon was a response to kidnapped Israeli troops and numerous cross board raids by Hizboula. The current blocade is meant to stop the production of home-made weapons. While this does stop them-the terrorists-it only encourages more poverty, desperation, and ultimately violence. I believe Israeli is in the right, but if they want to stop this conflict, they need to stop these blocades and try to bring prosperity to the areas of Palistinian majorities (Gaza Strip, West bank, etc.)

For your first time, very well done! If your asking how is it overall...........below average. Not really appealing. Remember, practice makes perfect. You'll be awesome in no time flat if you keep on trying to better yourself

I disagree with Video_Game_Kir. Graphics don't make a game better. Its they way they contribute to the emotional empact on the gamer, and the impact thus on the gameplay, that is important. In CoD4, I was faced with a war-torn hell, and had to fight my way out. That gave me an incentive to fight, to win, to go all out. That is graphic's contribution to gameplay. In, for example, Zelda: TP. If I see a dungeon that looks cool, I have the incentive to explore it. That is the whole point of graphics: make gameplay funner, "cooler." They aren't the end, but rather a means to an end, that end being fun.

I thought so too. Most "hardcore" zelda fans are disappointed with anything that isn't Oot or ALTTP. Basically, forget them. They can whine forever, but this game is great.

If you mean civil war..........it would talk alot for western countries today to fall into civil war. Don't forget you guys, the people who said "no," that antagonistic feelings precede a civil war. Chances are, I'd join the side I believed in. But, is a civil war viable anymore in the USA, or any other western European country (and Canada/Australia, of course)?

[QUOTE="Shinobishyguy"]

IMO SMG has surpassed SM64

Lazy_Boy88

Yeah it's better but not even close to better for its time. SM64 is a much better game for its time and I think that's what matters.

There is no competition for SMG. It is, in fact, awesome for its time (which would be now). You just don't realize this because the competition is so..........almost none-existant
