By no means am I a casual gamer. I just have less and less time to play games. Furthermore, I don't want to buy Mario Kart b/c I've played it to death on my friend's Ds. I am still unsure about FFXII: Reverent Wings, not to mention its price tag is a real turn-off. But, I want 5+ games next year (looking really good year for DS gaming!) and Advanced Wars 2, coming out in less than a month, is on the top of my list. So.......should I get the more-casual Brain Age 2 to hold me over? Is only $20, right? What do you guys think?
So today I got back my Ds Lite from Nintendo. I sent it in to be repaired, twice actually......all from my own stupidity and overzelous in cleaning the touch screen. Of course, I didn't tell Nintendo that. Nonetheless, when I got back my handheld today, I instantly realized that something was different: its L button wasn't worn from Metroid; its X button was still all nice and fine. It made a smooth sound when it opened or closed. When you go to the main screen, it was a new board around the opinions. I suddenly conclude that this isn't my Ds Lite I got a year ago before going to Egypt; no, I was a new one!! THey exchanged the entire thing! I probably won't care in a few days, and I feel nerdy just saying it, but I liked my old Ds Lite. I don't even have time to play video games that much, but hey, that Ds was special. O well......a consoles are the same, right? LOL, this is the stupidest thing I've posted yet.
Yes, I know: this is system wars. There is probably a idiot fanboy out there will will give me completely false info, and try to convince me that console x is worse that console y. Basically, all I need is this: is the PSP worth getting at this point? I love strategy games for handhelds, and the Ds has quite a bit to go before it gets those games. So I was going to buy a PSP.....good idea?
Amen! Still, the forums=awesome. O, and this FF is pretty good...a good attempt at an RTS handheld. Not great...good
