For £430 it just is not worth it for me, I have always had a Playstation but thought i might be swaded to get a new xbox, but these announcements have killed it, and even the PS4 isn't offering a wow factor, im just hoping its more affordable.

Dissapointing overall for me

I do not get why the UK has to pay so much more for it . . .  £429

The equivalent to about 650 dollars

[QUOTE="kraken2109"] If it doesn't say, it will be 60hzkraken2109

Ok, so will it be good enough for gaming with a Sapphire HD7970 and intel i7 (meaning will it be able to display the quality and Frame rate those components are capable of)

It will be limited to 60fps like 99% of the displays out there.

Ok, thats not to big a deal

Think I will go with it

Cheers

Hey everyone

Just want to apologise in advance if this is in the wrong forum.

I am looking to get a PC monitor for around £200-£350 (this is GBP not Dollar)

I will start by saying I do not care about energy efficency or any other little bits that are not goign to effect display quality.

Prefferably the screen will be on the large end and if its possible come with good 3D

Also are this will be used for gaming and movies and i am willing to up the budget for a good widescreen monitor with 3D

Suggestions above 350 are ok if they offer significantly better performance for the price difference.

Cheers

If you're going to buy Senns get the good ones (150pound+) because the build quality on the cheap senns are ****. I've been through four sets of senns over the years, I know other people who have experienced the same. For low to mid budget stuff they're not the best choice.

ShimmerMan

i heard the offer the best quality, i just assumed that meant across there whole range, any recommendations for a good higher end pair then?

Seeing as its my secondary machine if you will, i will only be editing some photos and small film clips (2 minute short film types at maybe 720p if it can handle it) also no special effects.

Iharlei- thats great to know, 30fps would be more than fine for me, and like the look of the laptop aswell, plus i can get 21% off so that puts it down to a nice £480

iHarlequin

For £480 it's a steal. Go for it if you're comfortable with the hardware and design, there's really no other laptop in that price range that gets even near to its performance.

well thanks, sure about the decission now
