No, i have never played a game and got so invested in characters as i did playing TLoU

visualy it is stunning, vocie acting is the best ive seen, game play is fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable, It has fear factor but also wow factors, and most importantly the story invoked so many emotions that you feel mentally drained having experienced it.

Best game i have played behind the MGS series.

Uncharted 1 and 2...a few annoying spots, but not 'hard'.

Demon's Souls...tough as nails.

[QUOTE="Young_Charter"]TLOU. Its never been done somewhat.firefox59
Nothing in The Last of Us was new. You might have loved the gameplay and enjoyed the story but that has been the biggest complaint against TLoU, that it's a "zombie apoc" scenario with a kid and an adult, both of which have been done a lot.

The premise is not new, no premise is new at all now, you can say halo was just another sci fi game, or oblivion was another open world fantasy.

But the story, character development and scenarios are like nothing else in any other game.

Quit the trolling

And if you have played/playing it and all you are getting from it is a zombie apocalypse game . . . then you aint playing The Last of Us

So I have just got the keycard and it seems to set of an automatic horde that knows where you are.

Do i now have to go down to generator, start it up making sure i dont die, then go back upstairs and through the hall of dead bodies and spores?

I have got to the part where you are in the hotel lobby section and just fell down the elevator shaft to the basement, I walked about and found a generator, made sure nothing was around by doing the listening mode, then i went to turn on the generator, and i just got butt raped by like 5 clickers.

Now i have no idea what i am doing and am bhitting sricks going into it. Without game spoilers what should i do?

He lives in the middle ages, not many people knew how to swim

For god's sake people did not even take baths in the middle ages

DouglasBuffone

Very very wrong

swimming has always been a way to bathe

yes they may not have done it often but it was the most common way as water was hard to move about obviously.

In crowded streets on hot days the place most people went would be to cool down in a nearby river.

Just because they didnt bathe often does not mean they didnt swim or bathe in rivers.

Water has always attracted humans and we have been swimming as far back as recorded history goes.

[QUOTE="Vari3ty"]

I really wish it was optional. As it is right now it's the main thing holding me back from purchasing the X1.

buccomatic

same here. i hate the idea of having to go back to the dreaded dual shock controller for ps4. and i don't think i can do it, so i'm stuck. buy an xbox one to get overcharged and spied on with a "feature" i can't stand and never wanted = no sale or buy a ps4 and get stuck with up, down, left, right d-pad "suckedness" which is so counterintuitive that i won't be able to enjoy it. both options are unbearable IMO.

Dont quote me on this but isnt the xbox d-pad changed much more like the PS4s now?

[QUOTE="Rattlesnake_8"][QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]

Kinect 1.0

Fastest peripheral ever to 5 million units

Fastest peripheral ever to 10 million units

Fastest peripheral ever to 20 million units

It's closing in on 25

Oh look! You failed

Jaysonguy

Proof? Most people that bought kinect got rid of them. There are very few kinect games that sell, and even fewer that get anything over a 7 when reviewed. The kinect isn't supported well at all.

Ummm, what?

Proof? The sales are proof.

As for not selling well there's 7 Kinect games that have sales of a million or more.

So yeah....anything else?

You cant just deny all the facts that

1) Its useless

2) The games its featured in are sh!te

3) it has such limitations its never going to be useful

4)its just tacked on to most games in a feature no one even with the kinect would use

Just admit it was promosing all this stuff it could do and then failed to do it in the moest epi of fashions. not one person i knows wants it and would rather the money they spent back.

Oh look, no one uses it and every one regrets buying it.

Think i have about 5 friends who are p!ssed about the kinect and what was promised and then the overwhelmingly dissapointing reality.

The motion control stuff needs to admit defeat now and stop making promises it can never fulfill

I gave facts, you gave ummm, you tried

Very good job, one day you're going to succeed at something and boy I'm sure someone may be proud!

How many friends (if you have any) have bought the kinect and been happy with the capabilities it offers (none) and think its worth the money?

because not a single person i know who has bought it has liked it in the slightest, fact right there
