nope you guys got it all wrong.

WoW was a great game. What destroyed it was the requirement to have a guild to do anything at level 70. Which means you MUST be hardcore and have a hardcore guild to get cool stuff and see fun stuff (most people in WoW are idiots and kidss-same thing...so most guilds are crap). I want to come online go on WoW and find a group to do a raid...not book a time slot with a crap guild who are disorganised.

I worked my ass off in wow...i was the first on my server to get many items and craft epics like Bulwark Of The Kings....it alll means nothing when you get ahead of everyone you know...you have to just stop playing.

I would love WoW to have non guild focused servers where you can just play at your own pace...i like being competetive and having better gear then others so i should not have to stop progressing because i cant "get into" a guild that is great because they have no space!

i believe i have learned an important lesson lol. I have cracked it...8800gtx requires 2x pci-e 12v connectors with 30a over them!!!! i was using 1 12v pci-e with 16a! due to it being a modern card and all they just underperford without telling you what your doing wrong lol.

So i will be off to maplin first thing in the morn to get a new one...then i will see you fine gents in Hyboria!

hhhhmmm guys i just realised that i have a 570wt power supply with 1 pcix connector (so only 1 is on the card)....could this be my problem?If the card is not getting as much power as it wants?

ok now i am worried...i just installed and tested the free game i got with my new card (lost planet) and even that is giving me 15fps on max settings...it seems the only way to improve fps is to turn resolution right the way down.why would that be?

I have tried 720p and the settings are still too high even for that game. So conan is def not gonna run :(, i thought 8800gtx was supposed to be the ultimate card and all but it seems like a waste of £300 :(

well if i cant return it if gonna be even more angry lol.

Seriously this game has taken up about 48 hours of my time trying to get to play it and im still level 1!I would not be so mad if they let you read the forum without joining so at least i can solve my problem!

I dont think ill be getting seen on age of conan anytime soon if ever....i think this game has been ruined for me and my taste for blood has been washed away by a flood of low fps,crappy forum servers and poor graphics card support!

8800gtx.

well i just installed aoc...upgraded to service pack 1....installed my new 8800gtx and tried to play and getting only 6fps on max (i understand it should do this easy)

my setup is vista 32bit, 3gig ram, 8800gtx, corde 2 duo 2.8gz and im playing on 1600res!

this angers me because i know that the game should run well with this card on max settings at least 20-25fps!

IS THERE A BUG OR SOMETHING?I RECENTLY DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED DX10 SO IM USING THAT!

9800gx2...what a card!

Im now getting really angry and impatient. I want to get a card like this...but where?I will not get one online...i hate waiting! I live in london and have been trying for 2 days to find a shop that sells decent cards...PC world is a joke! I want one TODAY...im sure you guys know the feeling but where from?
