This question should be asked a few months later for a less biased response. I remember when GTA 4 came out some people made it out to be the best GTA game ever made but changed their minds later.
I really hate how they have to end at a designated year, I don't care how "unrealistic" it is I just want to play my strategy games for as long as I feel like. They should have the option to keep playing your game for as long as you wish in the game.
On the official Saints Row forums I remember seeing all sorts of fan theories about how Saints Row 3 is only a dream/movie or one that I found particularly amusing is that the boss took so many hits to the head (think Maero) that he/she is imagining all of SR3 and 4. Anyways fun fan theories and hypothetical reboots aside we all know it is just a question of money and as long as the series sells this is the direction it will be taking. It does leave us with the question of if they want to make it more and more ridiculous and keep going with the series what's next? Do the Saints acquire a galactic empire after they defeat the aliens? I honestly don't even know what they will do with the series after this one.
Bring back Saints Row1/2 style humor and story. The story in the third game was forgettable and the decision to make the single player liner was a horrible one because I really liked to pick which gang I want to go after at what time. For the love of god no Zombies on the streets and no gangs of computer hackers, well dressed Europeans, Mexican wrestlers accompanied by giant clones. If the game is about street gangs in North America make it at least somewhat believable like the original Saints Row. Bring back customization that Saints Row 1 and 2 had or if you want bonus points something like APB has on the PC which includes custom logos and tattoos,Also as already mentioned 4 player coop. I'm a huge fan of the series and even if they make it like Saints Row 3 I'm probably going to buy it anyway but these are my wishes for the game.
