I'm sorry chaps but you cant just fob all that off with "yeah but they're mediocre games which dont interest me". Nonsense. It's undeniable that that is a stellar list of AAA games to all be released within a couple of months of each other. It's literally more AAA games than most people can even afford to buy.

If none of those "interest" you, for one i'd ask - what the heck does? And second, i'd say at least have the common sense to appreciate that your view is somewhat detached from the norm and therefore it's not incorrect to say that the 360 has indeed had a good year.

As for the likes of Viva Pinata and Naruto, i dont think anyone is saying they're killer apps. I'm fairly sure they're just making a point that there's a variety of games for everyone, including kids and people who like party games.

Hmm, I can get 4 of those games on a ps3, I find FPS's and racing games boring (I have never purchased an FPS), esentially the only thing up there that interests me, again, is Mass Effect and Blue Dragon, but I have already addressed these games. And of the 4, I already have Rock band on my ps3 and I plan on getting Orange Box, even if it isn't quite as good as the 360 version.

Again, however, while I will admit (and already have) that M$ had a good year for games, no one here has yet to convince me that the 360's line up of game releases this year is the best everin the history of gaming, especially since that is was Microsoft's press release is essentially stating.

Maybe, it sure is up there and they left out games like Assassin's Creed and Eternal Sonata (though they are multiplatform).

And you can't try to compare PC's because there are 1000's of difference configurations of computers. If you compare the top model yes its better (the $2500 model) but if you compare the ($700 model) it is not.

Graphics: Xbox > PS2
Online: Xbox > PS2
DVD: Xbox = PS2
Hard drive: included in the Xbox
Ethernet: included in the Xbox.

According to your logic better hardware obviously means a better console and games have no weight at all.

Thankfully this is SW. Where opinions don't matter and GS scores do. No matter how off or F'ed up they are these are the unwritten rules so you have to deal with them. Go over to Gamerankings and the 360 still has higher scored games and more exclusives.

Statistically the 360 games are better and yes most of the multiplatform versions are better as well. If you don't like it then I'm not one to stop you but the games are better. I don't like Metal Gear Solid or GTA but I know that they are good games regardless of my not really liking them too much.

Yes A game spot reviewer does score some 360 games higher then some ps3 games. So base your whole choice of console on that guys reviews and not how fun the games are. you're right We all should stop posting and only buy games based on gamespots reviews! After all Gamespot knows all. It's a shame we aren't aloud to make our own decisions and have to listen to there reviews or hitler will kill us all
