BioWare and Blizzard

Im thinking its somewhere on the wiiZeppy007On the Wii? I think it might actually be the Wii, sorry sheep.
It doesn't matter if they lose the NFL deal, Madden will stll sell by the truck loads (as it always has). If they pick up TTWO than they also own the only other developer who has made even a half way decent NFL game to go along with the rest of 2K sports. A monopoly on sports games with 2K Sports, Madden, Tiger Woods, Fight Night and even Nascar, the rest of EA games like Sims, NFS, Battlefield etc... Take-Two games like BioShock, GTA, Midnight Club, Max Payne etc... Full Ubisoft support since they are the biggest voting stock holder in the company (if they don't end up buying them out completely). They seem to have all it takes to "jump in" the market and take over.
P.S. Does anyone actually think that there is a company out there that wouldn't want to support a console that has GTA and Madden exclusively? Then there are other developers that EA could pick up along the way, like Valve and Gearbox.
[QUOTE="pins_basic"][QUOTE="horrowhip"][QUOTE="pins_basic"]MS isn't going to invest that much in the gaming market....Microsofts evil plan is taking shape. EA buys TTWO, BioWare and Ubisoft than MS swoops in and buys EA, brilliant.

They will invest a lot but never the $200 billion that would be needed to pull that off.
It would't take 200B o pull that off. Microsoft has enough in cash to pull it off and they woruldn't have to touch their stock.fine, that was an exaggeration.
But it would take more than $40 billion.
Activision Blizzard merger was a total of nearly $20 billion. EA is only slightly smaller than the newly merged Activision Blizzard.
EA controlling Ubisoft, Take 2, and Elevation Partner(BioWare/Pandemic) would be worth rediculous money.
MS wouldn't invest that much... MS likes the gaming market but it isn't worth THAT much money to them.
40 would be more than eought to get it done, Ubi and TTWO are not as big as you seem to think they are. EA maybe huge in the video game industry but they really aren't that big of a company, specially for MS. MS would proably be willingto put down the cash if they feel it would give them domnance. They have already bled what? 7B? A few years ago they pilled up so much cash that they litteraly didn't know what to do with it. They ended up giving half to their share holders for a total of over 33B and guess what, that pile of cash has grown quite a bit since. EA would be a nice thing to spend some of that pile on.[QUOTE="pins_basic"]MS isn't going to invest that much in the gaming market....Microsofts evil plan is taking shape.
