Anyone here ever try some exotic foreign beverages? On another forum i go to someone went to amsterdam and picked up a rare old bottle of absinthe that had cocaine and cannabis added to make one godly bottle of mind****. I cant find the thread but if i do ill post the pic, it looks delicious.

I wont ask that you break the law, but the trick is to start early. Do not go crazy. Build an appreciation for it. Getting plastered every now and then is ok, but dont make it a habit
however, if alcoholism runs in your family, look out. But do not worry if it was just your father; my dad was a drunk as well. if anything, that has kept me able to practice moderation. That, and the fact that it takes a crapload of beer to get me tipsy lol
Yeah if there's alcoholism I would strongly recommend that you don't start early, or at least drink very rarely until you're older. . My uncle started at 12-13 and really messed up his life. Now my cousin (not his son but on that side of the family) is a complete alcoholic at 16. It sucks watching someone go down that path.
honestly I think drinking sucks. It really doesnt feel all that great and when you get extra trashed you dont remember much. When I want a drug, I prefer.....a lot of other stuff :D

Lower the rate of addiction? Ha, I wonder what marijuana advocates will say about that since they love to tell everyone that it's not addicting...

*enormous sigh* He's talking about addiction rates across the board, like for heroin, alcohol, and cocaine. Marijuana isn't addictive, and the Netherlands' policy shows that legalizing it and approaching the problem of drugs in a different way lowers addiction rates for the harder drugs. I never said it was addictive and now that I read the OP's post again I now understand. The way you said "they love to tell everyone that its not addicting" made it seem like you were implying that maybe it is addictive. If you weren't, my bad. :D
