@Sushiglutton Supposedly PS4 is more powerful than X1, and its casing is like half the size. I'd be more worried about a YLOD repeat, or PS4 sounding like a jet plane, than RROD repeat.
@arqe @mdrieber @plaintomato Yeah, that makes great sense. Especially when you imagine that you might WANT a new phone someday. When that happens, if you have an iPhone and want to keep your stuff you have a whole world of options open to you.

PS3 & 360 sell somewhere around 10 million units a year right? Apple moves like 10 times that many iPads in a year. 160 million televisions sold so far this year. 1.2 billion cell phones.
And 40 million deaths. That's right. Everytime you buy an Xbox, four people die. And you thought video game violence was no big deal, "they're only pixels on a screen" you said. This is what your console wars and fanboy comments have brought us. Death.

I have a two console home now. They're both PS3. Connected play, cloud saves, two for one on digital purchases.
But the X1 features are looking too good to pass up for a living room setting. Luckily, I don't have to care what it "looks like", I'll wait and see what it "is".
