i just found out my cousin might of bought the extended warranty im leaning towards the 40gig but still unsure whether to get that or the new slim....what do u guys think?

thanks guys i think 40gig will be ok hardrive space i probably wont have more than about 10-15 games. I used to have a 20gb xbox 360 but i sold it it about a year ago because i didnt like it that much and i had to buy a network adapter and xbox live cards and i just like the ps3 better..... but i still had some memory space left so i think 40gb will be just fine. Im just trying to decide if i should take a chance or not

Hey im looking to upgrade my 8 year old ps2 to a ps3. My cousin has a 40gb ps3 that is a year old he is sellin it because he is running out of hardrive space he said. My question is should i get that or buy like a new ps3 slimfor $299 because he plays ps3 like 24/7. I dont live with him but i would say 5-10+ hours a day sometimes straight without breaks. It comes with a controller, box, 1 game, and all the hookups. The warranty has expired. He uses the cleaning fan which i heard is not good. Do u think it will get the ylod? Thats the only thing im afraid of with buying used, but its a pretty good deal. when i get the ps3 i will only be playing maybe a couple hours a day. Does a ps3 die quicker when used alot than someone who uses it for only a couple hours or an hour a day? thanks guys :)
