it's hard to buy a good gaming laptop under 1K. but if you can find a gaming laptop with the spec you gave under 1k than by all means get it.

i suggest you wait a little, cause there is a rumour that ATI/AMD radeon 9000 series (Volcanic Islands) will release sometimes this october (which is 20nm).

this doesn't make sense, there is a huge gap between 7970 and 2x7970. it would've made more sense between 7970 to 680gtx.

Now granted the PS3 is a console so of course the PC will be the superior version. But I can't help but think that Square Enix would be having less trouble if the PS3 had a unified memory system instead of splitting the 512mb of RAM.

this is a excuse that i could agree with unlike most developer that say it's hard to develop on ps3 or i'm too lazy :P

btw the cell is the CPU not hte memory you can't compare apple with orange the cell has nothing to do this problem
