almost 60million in sales is hardly considered failing :P also before PSP came nintendo dominated 100% market share for handheld. so i think it's a success. they also made alot of profit.

OK so a new round of rumors of the PSP2 have appeared, one of these say that the PSP2 will have 4 cores which is half of what the ps3 has(8 cores). How can this be true when the PS3 has 1 core and 8 SPE's, with one of the SPE being used for OS. This leads me to believe that they were just writing BS, and this rumor is false. But I am not a super hardware genius so I could be wrong. Please correct If I'm wrong.

technology changes! also 4 core doens't mean they will be powerful, they can put 4 cores and still be weaker than pentium 4.

sony plan for PS2 was 10 year like the first playstation, but it's already been 10 year since the lunch in 2000 and it's still selling, although it's sales decreased alot in the last few years it's still a pretty good for a console thats been out for 10 years.

When I look at the current release of games and the future games that have been announced for the psp, it's very lackluster. Why is Sony no longer backing their handheld? The best upcoming games are by 3rd parties. Could they be announcing the PSP2 soon? I wan't a Locoroco 3:cry:

it's not really lackluster but i'm assuming a new psp is on it's way, since it's been 5 years since the release, so probablynext year or 2years from now it'll come out. during the next 2 year there probably be a few more price drops. not sure if psp would last 10 years like it was planned i'm betting more like 8 years.

since when 50+ million sales became bad? also PSP is the only handheld that actully had any chance agiasnt Nintendo domination. it didn't beat DS But PSP is HUGE succes. also sony made alot of profit from it. hopfully they learn from their mistake and win in next gen handheld.

i think crysis would be a better demonstration of the decade 2009 since it's far more superior than uncharted in graphic
