There are many good looking games, no one will ever agree which is the best looking and honestly, who cares. If it looks nice and is fun to play, sweet, go play it. But honestly, how many "CONSOLE GRAPHICS KING" or "UNCHARTED 2 CONSOLE GRAPHICS KING" threads can we possibly get. The horse is officially beaten, dead, in chunks, rotting and smelly. Stop.

How about Uncharted 2 will be awesome because of the actual GAMEPLAY, story, added MP, firefight/horde like mode, etc. Well I have said my piece, not that it will stop any of these threads since Im sure 10 of them are brewing at the moment.

after playing crysis on very high setting i really don't care much about graphics anymore. also i agree alot of ppl care about graphics on console there are improvement but they are very minor improvement nothing revolutionary.

i'm gonna get this game unless it gets horrible reviews and by horrible i don't mean a 8.0 lol

I love HD to death, but do you think that HD is holding the visuals (not that they are bad) of games back? In other words, keeping them from where they could be at this point?

Because the 360/PS3 can run games from 480p/i, all the way up to 1080p/i... Well I would think that the 360/PS3 would be the same as a computer in that raising the resolution of the game requires more processing/graphical power... So all of these games are being optomized to run in HD with a steady framerate... Do you think if we had smaller resolutions, that games would be looking better at this point?

i don't like the sound of this, they really havn't shown off CryEngine 3 on PC. so it might be downgraded in terms of scale.

To make development costs cheaper wouldn't it be best to use outdated hardware for next gen consoles but more powerfull than current gen. For example if the PS4 had a nvdia geforce 8800 as the main GpU, quad core proccesor, 4gb ram. Surely this would make it cheaper for consumers, cheaper for developers to make games, cheaper for the generall public. They would still be more powerfull than current gen systems but not as powerfull as gaming PC's. I think the main problem is they have been trying to keep up with PC technology which is far too expensive and continues to evolve. As long as they are more powerfull than current gen systems and can run Crysis on High?, not sure whether my specifications would enable Crysis on Ultra high, it would be interesting if someone could answer that?-nvdia geforce 8800 as the main GpU, quad core proccesor, 4gb ram ultra high Crysis with that?. Personally i would love to just have a more powerfull Console than a PS3, even if it is outdated compared to Pc's, and would prefer it over a network based console, which is almost a certain considering that's what their doing with PSP Go. Hope they don't do a Nintendo on us either. But seriously guys would a console more powerfull than current gen but less powerfull than PC's be a good idea?, cut costs for everybody.

i had 8800GTX with 4gb of ram and Q6600 and i ran crysis on ultra high-setting with no AA and AF it runs the game at around 17 frames on average, sometimes higher sometimes lower. it still playable but now i got 9800GTX and it runs at 19 frames on average lmao :P but still i'm happy :D oh resolution was at 1440*900 which is 720P i think :P

The ps3 is a great system that SOO many people don't have because of price. WHY is this Sony's strategy............
