Hmmm, Internet connections do suck in Australia, so that might be the reason. (I have like 1.5Mbps i think)

Also, to the first poster, 1GB every 8 hours is not slower than 28k, when my Internet slowed down once to 64k, it took me like 30+ hours of downloading to download GTHD (690MB). Also that wasn't an exaggeration.

To all those people who say they download 1 gb things in like under 20 minutes. I have a question for you.

What is the speed of your connection, your ISP and your plan?

In Perth, which is in Australia, they use the Australian dollar. I think the current exchange rate is about 85 US cents to one Aussie dollar. So then a 100-120 dollar game in Australia, is still like 85-102 US dollars, which is much more expensive.

Enjoy your cheap games, Americans!

The "sub(whatever)" editions of mgs2 and mgs3 have the same game, but just some optional extras. Get them imo, they are much better.

I mean you can get them, but they are like over $4000 for any of them. Where are all the GOOD generic brands (such as this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824112174). So does anyone know where you can get a cheap, good HDTV in AUSTRALIA. Maybe not from online, but still could be.

Also, btw, how do you make a link to another site when posting on these boards

Hey peeps. I will hopefully be getting a PS3 sometime soon, and i just have a small question. Will I be able to play Backwards compatible-ised PS2 games online through my PS3. I wanna know cause i never got a chance to go online with my PS2, so if i could play the games online through my PS3 that would be sweet. If you cant then I wont be too fussed though.

Any answers would be appreciated.
