cool. I am probably gonna ask my girlfriend to get it for me for christmas. I don't have a basketball game yet and i have seen how good 2k8 was in person. I bought and love 2k9. Sure the sliders for the CPU may need some tweeking but after you find the ones that suit you, it will be the best basketball game you ever play.demon565

Well Ive not got 2k yet and will prob wait for a price drop around the all star break.

I do own The Inside and well its really a matter of opinion. I think its fun and a very solid game with lots of options and game modes. I run it at 1080p and to me the graphics are amazing. Im not understanding some peoples views saying its PS2 graphics seriously, I would laugh in someones face if they said that to me personally. I dont buy EA so IMO its non existant. The inside has the same stat update as live just weekly not daily. I really cant tell you to go buy it because it seems to be a love it or hate it game. I personally love it.

I think the graphics are great also. The game has good modes, gameplay is alot of fun and simple. I didnt here anyone compare it to ps2 graphics...thats just crazy.

Id be right there with you. I just dont get how ea sports makes so many good games but there basketball games are not even close to other games they make.

NBA 09 The Inside

So far it appears that the 2k series has been better on the next gen systems. They gave 2k9 a 8.0 but haven't rated Live 09 yet. Has anyone played both? If so, which is better in your opinion?whodeysay85

Ive never like any of the NBA Live games. I would check out NBA09 The Inside. In my opinion its better then both. I dont see 2K9 being any better then last years.. Plus NBA 09 The Inside has a new mode called "The Life" You play as a guy guy and bring him up through the D league. U can even put him on your Franchise team

I enjoy the story lines. I feel like the game has alot of different options. I havent played the other 09 games yet but from past years..I can say I was never to impressed. From what ive played of "The Inside" Its simple to control, not hard to learn gameplay, graphics are great, Voice over work is good 2. I have nothing to complain about.

For me it's between NBA 2K9 and NBA 09: The Inside. Normally I would get 2K9 no question, but NBA 09 is tempting me this year.king23_

Im picky when it comes to basketball games. I feel like its hard to find a really good basketball game. I was never a huge fan of 2k Sports games and when it comes to ea sports Id rather stick to there football games.

NBA 09 The Inside looks like it might have an edge on the other BBall games this year. The whole story lines and different gameplay make it more interesting.
