If you get a 2nd GTX280 then you need more cooling, and more PSU

well the whole reason i am getting a 4850 is because the price is so good, i mean i and hope a brand new bfg 9600gt and brand new eVGA 6600gt(outdated i know but its never been used) at least cover most the cost or i might need a new approach.

i would get a brand that comes with an after market cooler the single slot design just isnt efficent at removing heat and u will get better OC results with the after market cooler.

and if u dont have a crossfire mother board u might want to wait a little longer for the 4850x2 which should come out soon altough im not sure when.

johnny27

will the 4850x2 have a great price as well?

well depending on your mobo if it xfire then get two hd 4850s if u have the money for it i got two visionteks in xfire ive also heard saphire was good also i think they come with aftermarket fans on em either way they are both good my main card is oced to 700 on the gpu clock and 1125 on the mem clock i upped the fan spee don both cards and they idle around 45c-to 50c underload i think they hit 60c havent checked em in while lol but they are worth money Neo_revolution7

i haven't actually got my computer so i dont know how my mobo is going to fair the OCing, and its neither sli or xfire so i am out of luck there :(

specs are in the sig of the computer that i just ordered from ibuypower and it comes with a 9600 gt, now i was thinking about selling it right away along with my still in box eVGA 6600 gt to get an hd 4850. I was wondering what company is the best or does it even matter. i was thinking about the visiontek one or maybe sapphic... idk guys out there who own the card can i have some input on why i should buy it for the amazing low price it is?

its a good price for what you get...all you need to do is buy a nice video card and maybe if u want more ram and your all set for intense gaming
