i have never had any hallucinations or dreamsabout god or anything close to that.on another notethat argument was made by HUMANS not by god. i thought god was all powerful. why can't he even defend himself when people are questioning him?
That's not what the article is talking about.:|
What it says is: If somebody says that they saw God, then they could just as easily chop that up to being a hallucination. Re-read it.
again that is an arugment YOU made, not god. regardless of what you say, unless there is solid scientific PROOF that god exists or unless god comes out and does something amazing for everybody to see there is no argument for god's existence.
If God does not exist, then nature must bee infinite. prove to me that nature is infinitethe origon of nature is something we are working to solve right now. but the EVIDENCE of nature exists NOW. we can see it's influence onthe world. therefore it must exist.where is the evidence that god exists NOW?
we know that nature exists, but we've proven that it cant be eternal because of the theory of general relativity.i know that nature might not be eternal. butwe can prove that it exists. where is theproof that god exists? you avoidanswering the question.
where is the proof that nature is eternal? you're avoiding the questionfine. there is no proof that nature is eternal. and i admit that it might not be.at least i have the common sense to admit something when i have no proof. but there is no question that nature, i.e. the laws of the universe exists now. now you answer my question. where is the proof that god exists?
we know that nature exists, but we also know that nothing in nature is eternal. a finite universe can not have been caused by something which is finite.I will admit though I dont have any evidence for the existence of God, but I do have evidence that contradicts the idea of an eternal universe
just because we can't prove that god doesn't exist, doesn't mean that god MUST exist. if that is your argument then it is just as credible to say that a giant flying spagehetti monster created the universe because there is no proof that a flying spaghetti didn't create the universe and is master of the universe.

[QUOTE="power_rangerer"][QUOTE="Silver_Dragon17"][QUOTE="power_rangerer"]it has no credit to begin with, because you have no scientific proof to back your theories, only assumptions based on a really old book written a long time ago.

And I suppose Atheism is just based on science, 'miright?
i'm not calling myself an atheist. i'm saying i believe in what is proven by science and observable evidence. ifone day someone provesgod exists then i will admit i was wrong.you saygod cannot be understoodso therefore scientific evidence alone couldn't disprove his existence. thenwho are christians to say their god is the only god and that all the other world religions are wrong.
so, wait, you're agnostic?no. but i am open to any solid scientific proof concerning god's existence. so far, there is absolutly NO proof that god exists. even if you can prove a god exists, what about the other 66% of world religions. areyouclaiming your god MUST exist butthey areall worng about their god?

Just because I made it doesn't automatically discredit it.:|
